What I will say is this ......The choreographer of "Bubblin Brown Suga" brought his style and ideals to the squad and when it was time to go he rightfully took those belongings with him .... I am a die hard BBS fan but neither you or I can be shocked , upset or surprised that you now see the strong resemblance of "BBS" in "Champagne" if anything I would like to think BBS's legacy lives on through these young ladies... Speaking from personal experience I learned alot from both squads ....

@LeoKing03 You made a true statement in which i cannot disagree... However, yourself and others have to be mindful that the BBS we love is frm a different era all together so of course your not going to see that intensity you saw frm the 99-00-01 or even 02 BBS

@jazzeejai I trully believe HBCU marching bands all together have changed now wheather it's good or bad i'll leave that to your imagination but I think the level of "Intensity and passion has changed significantly in all HBCU Marching bands and i will take it a step further and on the High school level...The only reason i can say i can bring the same heat as the old heads is because i was taught by them andd influenced greatly!

@jazzeejai As I read the comments of you and others, I can't agree nor disagree because prior to the "101" going to MBC in 2001 (I think), I never heard of or knew about BBS. I can say that I was disappointed in what I saw a first impression. That same impression of what I saw then is the same opinion that I have of Champagne now.  DISAPPOINTED!! The young ladies aren't as classy as they use to be. It was a breath of fresh air to see the 25th Reunion of Champagne in 2008. COME BACK PLEASE!

@jaydot31 Jaydot I am a SCSU alum class of 1997. I totally disagree with you. Today's version is very classy! They way they carry themselves, the way they dance, u will never see them "drop it like it's hot" like some other squads. They area a class act and the type of squad that I would want my young daughter to idolize and be a part of.
