I am asking my self, why do so many rc planes have 2 wheels in front instead of 1 in front? I am scratch building a plane my self right now and I am planing on doing 1 wheel in the front and 2 in the back, becuase I think it would greatly increase the cahnces of damaging the prop.

hey, i have a a f4u corsair, and i fly it at my school fields.
i have a very small cricket strip which i use to take off on but when it comes to landing (im no pro) my wheels get caught in bumps and dips in the grass which has broken my landing gear. i hjave fixed the gear but thay are now very weak and i dont think they can take one of my landings, so i was wandering if you could suggest how i could strengthen my gear (its a chepo version of parkzone) so all it is a wire connected to the wing.
I found the wheels at towerhobbies . com. Or at dbproducts . com.
NeCubFlyer is an incredible person for taking the time to show us all this!!!
Also, some people seem to use the 2.5 inch Micro Sport Wheels from hobbyzone . com. I suspect the one NeCubFlyer uses in this clip might be better. I'll probably end up testing both at some point.
I was wondering what size shrink tube you were using. Love the vids.

For grass landing, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to remove the landing gear!?
