So I thought I would try something a little easer like a hat. It turned out pretty cool, so cool a chick ask if I would make her one. Hell, I just gave her that one its just more practice for me right now.(this is a good way to meet women :) I was wondering if you could show me (the world) how to make a hat (fishermen style)? On the patterns do you use the notches? Or are they a joke? What about locking stitches? I didn't see you say anything about that so far. When should you lock stitches?

Thank you posting your video Redhead. Its sad more people don't wont to learn to sew,hehee.I have been learning to do upholstery, for myself mainly so I can redo some of my home furnishing, car and boat. I have to say I'm not doing to bad for my first year of sewing. The last few weeks I have been trying to make myself some clothes, (shirt, hat).On the shirt I made it as far as sewing the collar on and I ruined my project. Oh well it was practice.
