  • By far the best throat singing I've seen/heard

  • that gave me the chils

  • this is fantastic thank you

  • throat singers do not go to war lol what the hell they are peaceful spirits and are not some war mongols lol get it right people we stand for the world coming together and the government to be gone and the people to stand for love and unity and if this isnt what they stand for then they are not a good person ... u cant throat sing from the heart if you are dark inside remember the soul never lies.....:)

  • @Wongraven559 How u know?

  • @tvmee ive studied for years the path of enlightenment and the occult and i know that we are being brainwashed by our government for this new world order and all the people are going to choose either good or evil and now is the time to choose what side of the fence your on and throat singing should be intended to ease the mind and create peace not war thats what an enlightened person believes and thats what throat singing is all about to me and many others .....:)

  • @magicmonkichi

yes in in many of the Altaic cultures of Siberia, until recently, forbid women to perform this art in fear of a superstition that the woman,s clan who broke this male oriented tradition would fail

  • Müthiş

  • great stuff

  • DAMN MONGORIANS!

  • Really??? A woman cannot physically do this? I don't believe that....

  • @americanfella

I agree with you, there are many vids of women singing in this fashion. Perhaps "traditionally" it's more a 'male' thing culturally?

  • I'm Turk from Turkey,i heard simular throat singing in mountain nomads who are still living on tents in south Anatolia.Greetings from Turkey

  • nice singing but sure where the woman on the intro got he idea that the adam's apple allows him to do somehitng that women can't do.. she might like to try clicking on the link in the left column titled Female Mongolian Throat Singer

  • If he had a guitar he could be a Metal God!

  • @yasinuss Guitar's idea came from Morin Khuur!

  • no wonder the Mongols where known as the storm across Asia

  • Down in front!

  • Actually, and I know this is I am Professor for wind instruments at Camshire University in England, the the high-pitched sound is a penny whistle stuck up his

    blurter.

  • @1911m1a1 What a joke, a professor that doesn't even know rudimentary acoustics!

  • @bruteforcetraining

People get a laugh at your lack of intelligence quite a bit I'm sure.

  • @ponyboy1129 People blah blah blah blah blah you're so clever blah blah blah.

  • @ponyboy1129 english is a liars language

  • pity about the sound quality but aren't humans just absolutely amazing?

  • Who makes the whistle ? The singer himself or it's the istrument

  • @simbadsail the singer

  • These people are incredible for not being so famous. Aren't these guys better than big hip-hop producers these days?

  • AWESOME....

  • What is his name I would like to buy his music?

  • Ken iskis ha ken brav !

  • Beautiful!!!

  • Yeah imagine back in the day when the whole horde of 1.6 million horsemen under Genghis Khan would start singing this little tune in unison. The eerie terrifying sound could be heard over 100 miles in advance of the rampaging barbarian army. It would get louder... and louder... and LOUDER as the death-horde approached. Villages and cities would simply empty out as the demoralized population fled for their lives. Then the Mongols would simply ride in, loot up, and party hearty!

  • @Rep0007, i know of what you talk about, it's just awe inspiring. I'm actually working on this as we speak

  • @Rep0007 Too bad the inhabitants of the town were fucking idiots, get their ass slaughtered and burned, and their skulls hanging from spears and such. The town will be so totaled that it will be worse than Chernobyl.

  • @Rep0007

Yeah...cause warriors are all trained in tmongolian throat singing and concentrate on this instead of preparing to fight o.O

  • @AmonAmarthJunkie hahahahahhaha good one

  • @Rep0007 Preach it, brother!

  • @Rep0007 hmh it sounds like something amazing, but this chants and techniques are originally and primarily, used for healing. There are special sounds that heals, in conjunction with the sacred Gift anf Force of the singer-shaman.

Although maybe they also sang to help armies in battle... it is something we will perhaps never know. But it could be; as the Mixe-Olmecs in Oaxaca Mexico, who were (and still are), considered tremendous warriors acompanied by powerful shamans whom fought like tigers,

  • @Quetzalcuetlachtli harsh storms, cutting winds and calcinating thunder. The shamans fought as nahualli, alter-co-soul, tona, or "soul", the twin animal or natural phenomenon born the same as the baby, woman or man. They overflowed, enraged rivers, both as in the form of elementals or with their chants and sacred word. Also the strenghthen the army and community, still to this days.. Such phenomena was witnessed and wrotten by many spaniard, zapotec and náhuatl; army, clergy, and bureaucracy.

  • @Rep0007 You make a damn good point dude! That would be mad intimidating... especially those super low open bass notes. Music as a weapon; who'd have thought?

  • @mdavenrow Well the scottish did

  • @Rep0007 dude if 1.6 million man start to make this sound they will die in earthquake;D

  • @Rep0007 how many boards

    could the mongols hoard

if the mongol hoards got bored?

  • @Rep0007 I wonder how far in advance you could hear a huge group of these singers. 100 miles is a far distance...then again 1.6 million is a lot of people. Did you read that somewhere or just guessing/exaggerating?

  • @rascally5 my guess is you would indeed hear it quite a bit away but more than likely not 100 miles away. may 5, 10 at the most depending on elevation of the troops vs the village.

  • @Rep0007 LIKE A FUCKING BOSSS xD

  • @Rep0007 Just by reading this, I got goosebumps. Great writing :)

  • It's beautiful

  • listen to that whistle... magnificent!!!

  • @npaujbais it's not a whistle

  • Fricken' epic and mystical. It's what I imagine when I stride the steppes of Mongolia and Tibet.

  • Who is he?

  • very skilled man GJ 5 and favorite

  • See the group Ananda

  • bravissimooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • EPIC.

  • Just think what a dozen or more of these singers would sound like. Any videos of groups like that?

  • This sounds enormously cool.

  • simply incredible. I initially thought he was whistling for the higher bits, but toward the end the camera zoomed in and i could actually see his lips moving to shape the sounds. That was coming from his throat!

God I want to learn how to do this. I bet it takes years. What an incredibly powerful tone though. Hell, I'd be satisfied if i could just do the low tone, but both would be incredible. God, i'd do that all the time.

  • Youll learn the low tone pretty fast. in a few weeks maybe. but the overtone singing is a bit harder.

  • look up "overtone singing tutorial" on here. This one guy has a great tutorial on it. It's of the whistling sounds not the low notes.
