@Derail07 I think that's actually pretty typical of the surface in a tree farm. I also think that most of the people "bitching" are hunters and a couple may actually be hog hunters who are quite familiar with how destructive pigs are; I still shoot for the central nervous system and I would still put an insufficiently shot animal down. F-ed up is F-ed up no matter how you slice it.

How do folks think animals like this die in the wild? Old age? hah! they die long slow painful deaths either by starvation, disease, or being ripped apart by other predators. This death was more humane that what nature would have dealt.
