  • Great video!!!

  • great tutorial thank you

  • great tutorial! :)

  • @GlenwoodCorp nop, I rode a ripstick and have these and they are quite differente, on the ripstick you move your feet in vertical pendulum, these you have to move feet horizontal.

  • It just like a ripstick

  • @Tiggy2708 i thought so too until i bought them and they are COMPLETLY different

  • @Tiggy2708 I just got mine like five minutes ago, and I have a ripstick, and they are nothing alike. But i like them better, even though I still cant ride.

  • es muy bueno el video!! me sirvio mucho ;)

  • f ing can't get any momentum going on my own

  • I´ve just bought my pair of theese. They are very difficult at the beginning, but then it´s just practice.

    They are GREAT!

  • @Luqita21 did you get them online??

  • i just got my pair and its super difficult, i hope i get better at it

  • freeline skate is just so difficult cause my left foot is not agile as my right foot,

please help me solve this problem...

  • If you want to use protection is up to you. But I would use it if you go in to a skatepark. And it is great to do.

    NXSports.eu

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • Also should I have protectors on them? I notice that in every freeline video they are not using protectors.

  • I just can't get it... I've been practicing for a long time and yet i just can't get to generate momentum. If i had an infinite slope then i could go forever, but on flats i just can't keep going. I ride regular and i don't know which foot should have the weight when I'm trying to swing. I also seem to generate FRICTION instead of momentum when I swing my body. I can turn fine, but I just can't speed up... PLZ HELP!

  • I am thinking about buying these to ride around campus. After ample practice, of course. My campus is a lot of uneven pavement, brick, and black top. How is the ride-ability on rough terrain?

  • Was in a subway in toronto and saw some guy holding some of these things but i thought it was some power tools. He put them on the ground and I couldnt see him. Then I watched him skate away. My mind way blown. Took me a whole hour of resarch to figure out what these were. I searched cut in half ripstick cause thats what i thought they were lol.

  • Hi I want to buy a pair of freeline's but i dont know if i should get the grom's or the OG's i want to get the groms cause they're cheaper, but if theres a superior difference the puts a positive impact on riding then i'll get the OG's.

  • I bought these today from a friend (his uncle sells them), as soon as I got home I started practicing.

At first I could barely move 10 centemetres and balance for barely 10 seconds.

Now, I can balance and go all the way along the path at the front of my house, and sort of do the movement (in, out) with my feet.

A few of my friends can ride them and a few others are learning. Once we can all ride we will make a YouTube account and upload videos of us riding, doing tricks.

  • @smj1441 sweet. i just got mine in the mail today :)

how far can you go now? :) learned to take speed/pump yet? :)

  • @alexdb95 I can do the movement completely now, and as long as the path is reasonably flat and smooth i can just keep going. I can go uphill kind of, I can do the back stomp.. We have the YouTube channel up now, at the moment its only videos of my friends from ages ago but we will probably be uploading videos of us all this week :) check it out "FreelineAUS"

  • Looks great :D

  • check a sport chalet!!!!!!!

  • looks just like a streetboard/ snakeboard with no middle bar

  • good introduction for me. i'm just a beginner. Many thanks

  • I don't see why anyone would want to get good at this. It's so boring to watch compared to skateboarding

  • where can i get this skates in singapore?

  • @budchuck99 ordering online is probably your best bet

  • how much are these skates and where can i get some?

  • Awesome

  • What if I Cut my Ripstick into a half? Do I have a home made Freeline Skate then?

  • @kanopopo go get the air and cut the tips of its not freeline but ifs fun

  • air gears! XD

  • Here is a terrific video. On instantskate, com there are possibly sweet videos.

  • many thank

  • THESE THINGS ARE HARD AS FUCK TO RIDEEE

  • @GovVision They take time to get down, you just have to pace yourself and realize that it's not going to happen on the first try. Check out some of the other Instructional vids on our page

  • @junrocks1234 well, try it and see if it works. if it does, let me know.

  • anyone konws the song? thanks

  • i0ve just bought this for 70$ its SO FUCKEN HARD

  • Looks fucking stupid bahaha fuck freeline skates

  • Dude, they look sick, but I am 13 I don't have 120 dollars to spend on them and my parents will kill me if I even ask them for them. So is there any way to make them? They don't look THAT hard to make.

  • @WeThEgReEnPeOpLe

    Yeah, it's easy to make.

    1. Make a mold.

    2. Pour the aluminum into the mold.

    3. Lathe the bolts at the end of the S-bend.

    4. Apply griptape.

    Done!

  • Ooh, LOL I was kinda hoping that there would be a place I could buy the molds and the griptape and nuts and bolts and just put it together my self xP

    Still would be expensive huh?

  • @WeThEgReEnPeOpLe I actually made a pair of them myself out of old roller blades that had a metal frame for the wheels, two 8th inch steel plates, some bolts and rivits, and griptape. :D

And they work amazing! I made them for probably 20-50 dollars. ^_^

so it's possible! Just alot of hard work, measuring, and cutting and stuff. : P

  • so wait, is this basicaly like riding a ripstick?

  • @Daa155 nah it's a different motion, it looks waaaaaay cooler, and is thousands of times harder. XD

  • @semajkecyr to be honest in my opinion these are not cool. idc about the motion, the design looks stupid. i scooter and bike those r cool in my area. rollerblades r gay, skateboarders r pussys, and I never seen anyone riding this shit in the video. Screw seeing it,,,.. I never heard of this before today lol

  • @MuZiCL0VA2009 I mainly like it because of the fact no one has ever heard or seen these before. XD I like doing new things to grab people attention you know?

and Honestly, I mainly like it cause it's alot like surfing and snowboarding (two things that I can't quite do very often) so yea. : P

so what kinda biking do you do? do you do any racing? If so, that's freakin sweet! :D

  • @semajkecyr I bmx not like pro bmxing I just do fun stuff with my friends. bunny hopping up 5 stairs lol. I got a GT bike with over $500 of mods on it.

  • @MuZiCL0VA2009 awesome! do you guys put up any vids? seeing a bunny hop up 5 stairs would be sick!

  • i cant find them on ebay or amazon help

  • they are there now

  • how do you determine which foot is your backfoot?

for him, i see he uses his right leg as his back foot

  • whatever feels comtrouble

I ride goofy but im right handed and right everything

so for me it makes more sense to have your right foot forward

  • same

  • @ladymjackson001 I also ride goofy but am right handed. Just like surfing and skateboarding, do what feels natural

  • @ladymjackson001

It should be the same as for skateboard.

I just learned myself and it is quite easy to just learn both gofy and normal, at the same time, you just do it alternating when you practice first one ride gofy then one ride normal and so on.

  • it hurts on the crouch

  • took me five days to get going pretty good on these things. best investment ive ever made. i love these skates

  • are these easier or harder to master than a ripstick

  • @anibioman alot harder.....the ripstick or wave board is incredibly easy (in my opinion) to get the hang of..

  • @anibioman harder. way harder.

  • $150

  • Thnx this video actually helped me :)

  • werd

  • Pushing off without anything to hold on is kinda like pushing off on the xglider. Your left foot is flat on the ground and then when you're ready to push off, your right foot goes up with a push and your feet should start moving.

  • Three weeks for me.

  • Freeline skates are amazing. They took me about three weeks to ride really good but honestly they are so worth it. I ride down hills now and turn heads. Seriouly buy them. Freeline GROM is one that I have. they are wood but made by the same people

    Sweet

  • how much harder to learn is it than normal skateboarding

  • skateboarding is pready easy this is a tone harder

  • These look great! How much effort does it take to go uphill though?

  • I was wondering the same thing.

  • FYI I got a pair 3 days ago and I've been able to go up a very gentle slope, which isn't so bad. It seems my balance sucks though, so I find it difficult to get going on bad terrain (e.g. the pavements of Dublin) without tripping off the skates, so I look pretty dumb.

    Guess it takes time!

  • time is exactly what it takes. I had the same problem. Certain places I rode well but on bad terrain I felt like I took a huge step back. But in time it's all the same(although smooth is just so much more fun)

  • question. :0 where did you buy them...? :3

  • Well, I called a few skate shops here and most had no idea what they are, so I got them on eBay... not too cheap either - about €110 including shipping from the UK.

If you're in the USA it should be easier to get them though...

  • It's really not that hard. Once you have the motion down with your feet, it's all about cranking your hips for momentum. Comfort on the skates = uphill with ease.

  • Thanks, glad to hear it! Will keep at it then :)

  • brought to u by CTFXC :P

  • thank u at least i know im not the only one

  • So much better than skates I wouldn't need to carry around those big things @-@

  • Am I the only one who thinks this looks fucking stupid?

  • and this is cumming from the fag who favorites yoga instructunal videos haha (cumming)

  • No. It's coming from the guy who's married to a real live (and pliable woman thanks to yoga) and not some jag off like you who thinks this fucking lame "sport" will ever catch on with anyone other than tiny dicked losers who need the fucking attention. You know. In case you were wondering.

  • @drboogersnot Don't knock the "sport" cuz you are closed minded. If you're not up for a new challenge don't bag on guys who aren't afraid to test themselves

  • I wanna see him do the next video with his shirt off. Looks like he has an awesome hairy chest! Very sexy!

  • those would be good for moving furniture

  • these things look like an easy way to rip your crotch doing the splits

  • Hey speaking of Drift Skates, how are those? I actually have the official FLS, because I saw them new for $70 at a swap meet, but I know those cheaper $40 drift skates exist on ebay. How do they feel? Are they safe? I mean, considering they're made in china and all.

  • for freeline skates, breaks are the turns.

  • dude people r copying u but i learn from this guy the inverter thanks ryan

  • CTFxC FTW!!!

  • CTFxC FTW!

  • CTFxC FTW :p

  • yeah CTFxC FTW!!!!!!!!!!

  • CTFxC ! Ha

  • CTFXC :D

  • CTFxC

  • sent by ctfxc lol

  • Sent BY CTFxC

  • The in and out motion and pushing off the wall reminds me of learning how to skate backwards. Once you get the rhythm though, you wonder why it was so painfully hard for you get moving going backwards when you started off.

  • CTFxC brought me here

  • no skate

  • hey i saw u at knott's yesterday and i also saw Shaq

  • how much r a pair of these?

  • £80

  • umm one question how do you stop

  • look at the beginning

  • lol i said that 2 weeks ago

  • my dad ordered a pair for me =]

  • lucky these things look fun as hell

  • they look really cool - wouldnt it be sooo much easier if they had straps tho?

  • actually no, cause if u fall, the skates are still on your foot and u crash hard :(

  • i thought that when I rode them for the first time. But if you fall without the straps you just step down, if you had straps you'd crack your ankles

  • they do.

    for like 20$ i think.

  • im not talking about the SKATES im talking about the straps!!!

  • Freelines FTW.

wave/ripstick=made in china 5 mph garbage = FAIL

  • well they've done it.

They've finally created something worse than plain ol roller blades or skates.

  • How is this worse?

  • holy shizz!!!

my sis ordered some for me

imma get them soon hopefully!!!!!!!!!!! yess!!!

  • free style snake boarding is what it looks like to me.

  • really sorry to ABZONB11 and jahjiggajahjah!!! accidently spammed. ive never heard of manly skates either?!?

  • i get them 1 month a go an i now how to ride but not to gain speed

  • lol got some opf these today there soooo hard but i got them in like 3 hours lol

  • all they did is copy the sidewider with out the middle support!!!

  • i hell want some freeliners man!!

can u get them in australia???

  • ye, by em from the freeline website. or u can get em from manly skate

  • hmm

manly skate?? never heard of it..

    is it in qld??

and i dont really know how to buy stuff of the net... yea im noob

  • The reason I like these freeline skates is because they remind me of what skateboarding was all about when it was started - Having fun.

  • okay i cant get any speed on flats how does that work

  • 180faky, practice! It's all about the movement. It's the same motion you use going slow. With more time on the skates it just comes naturally, and you begin to get more speed. Keep it up!

  • i bough tsome thjey havn't came but when you turn on flats you put front foot a little forward and the other will foollow

  • I've had a ripstik for a year now and I like it a lot. I just got some freelines today but I haven't mastered it yet. Just gotta keep at it.

  • Glad to hear! Keep practicing you'll love em, let's see what you can do

  • im getting some freelines tommorow im so excited!

  • i learned how to freeline

but i cant use that rip stik

  • Chur!!!!

just bought me a pair and cant wait till they get here

  • so fun :D

  • if you can ripstik really good then can u do this easily?

  • you will have better balance (just like if you skateboard before ripstick) but you've got a new technique to master.

  • kinda like ripstick

  • just got em fo christmas XD
