i have a 2009 civic (fwd of course)

- i love drifting in canada during the winter only. and only if there is adequite snow/slippery stuff

- is there ANY damage to my car pulling the emergency brake at a corner and sliding.

- i wouldnt think so because the low friction wouldnt put any stress on vehicle. BUT im not a mechanic

No damage is done to a car until you smash it into a corner and bend the wheels :) So no problems with pulling the e-brake in the winter..

But..

FWD sucks, so if you want to enjoy in the car sell it or buy another older one with RWD and enjoy!

if you do it only on snow and ice your car wont take any considerable damage

but if you do it like i did on a surface with half mud half snow then you might damage the suspension...

Theres drifting, then theres power sliding. Power sliding is performed like a drift, but no E brake is used. In a drift, the E brake is used to make the car slide.

Eseguire dei drift con delle trazioni posteriori e sulla neve o ghiaccio che sia... oserei dire semplice. Ma scusate chi è che ha usato il freno a mano nel video? In quelle condizioni basta scalare, far pendolare un pò la vettura e controsterzare. Comunque Bel video!

il senso del freno a mano non e iniziare il drift poco prima della curva ma iniziarlo gia alcuni metri prima... cosi la makkina rimane nella posizione drift per un po di piu... cmq sono io quello ke usa il freno a mano nella frontera

Io drfito con il mio frontera da un paio d'anni e nonho mai toccato il freno a mano, anche perche con i motori che ci troviamo sotto il culo basta scalare sfrizionare, far pendolare la macchina prima della curva e il gioco è fatto. Io vengo dal drift con trazione anteriore ed eseguirlo con una trazione posteriore per me è stato uno scherzo. Io ho un Frontera SW per cui capisci quanto sia complesso controllarla.

Spero quanto prima di poter inserire qualche drift col fronterozzo. Se vuoi puoi vedere un caSSAta in un piccolo burnout cercando axelclio (sono io) su youtube.

allora, un'altra volta ti spiego perche uso il freno a mano... cosi riesco a prolungare il drift gia prima della curva, diciamo una 50ina di metri prima. Vuol dire ke prima la faccio pendolare poi eseguo il drift, entrando nella curva. capisci!?
