  • Wasn't the rx7 in faf 1 running an ls? My friend says different but I know for sure it had one.

  • idk why people dont just throw flowmasters on them and be done with it

  • will not lie mate. that is one massive wanker number plate

  • im thinking of getting the conversion kit for the s14 and use a 650 hp turnkey ls7 can hinsons provide headers too fit the s14 steering ect?

  • @rs200000000000 Our Stainless headers for the LSx V8 powered S14 can be made with either LS1 or LS7 exhaust flanges. Just let us know when you place your order. Thank you!

  • HOOORAY FOR TRUE DUALS!!!

  • PLEASE take off that gay ass ricer wing!!! It ruins the car!!!

  • @rextuner03 yes, god forbid there be a functional spoiler on a high power rear wheel drive car. Go back to the livestock barn, rdneck

  • @awhite181 You think that flimsy little piece of crap is "functional"? This car probably runs 10's or so and with that there is NO need for a spoiler at all much less one like that. Look I love the car I just think that wing makes the car look gay. Not as gay as you but pretty gay.

  • @rextuner03 coming from someboy who probably thinks the spoiler on his wrx is cool.

  • @awhite181 It looks a fuck load better than that stupid shit. That wing makes it look like a shopping cart. Do you honestly like that spoiler?

  • DAMN!!! what color is that paint... that's the color I want on mine!

  • The sound of american muscle in a rx7 just seems off to me.

  • @aji8 just remember, pistons get more torque, while the wankel gets so much horsepower. and yes, rotarys are junk, and after 110, 120k miles, then they start to fail BAD!!!!!

  • @45Mang as much as I love V8 rx7s and as I'm in the midst of my own conversion. I can't totally turn on the rotary, my friend bought an 86 nonturbo rx7 that now has 370k miles on it, the first engine lasted 289k miles. This car was also autocrossed and driven spirited all the while, but with proper care and maintenance it's lasted a LONG time. my 12a in my 1st gen just keeps going, but yea put a little boost on it and let it go lean, and it's gone. Gotta keep that tuning right.

  • @therotaryrocket dude, rotarys are awesome we it comes to racing, but after a few 100k miles on em, theyre but not good. lol. ive been studying them for 3 years now for a ASE exam, the apex seals on the rotors, are quite hard to replace. but its not impossible to fix.the piston engines well, you might know alot about em. but thats the only problem with rotarys. and if they seals are awesome, then the boost is no problem for the thing. lol

  • @45Mang @45Mang dude, your ASE exams don't tell everything dog. A rotary engine can be easier to rebuild if you compare someone already experienced in the process. Apex seals can last a very long time, or they could blow up in 100 miles if they're tuned wrong, so really, that's the key, tuning. I know from experience (I've blown two of them, ran lean both times). I'm going for a V8 now anyways.

  • @therotaryrocket my bad for some bad spelling. lol. typed fast and didnt check. but anyways bro. apex seals are what rotors depend on, if not good bye combustion, and say hello to your new bad engine.

  • @45Mang you are right about that :)

  • @45Mang True and even upping to 3mm seals is not an easy deal. The great thing about a rotary is you can spin it as fast as the internals will handle after you port it. Not good for a daily driver but on a road track its pretty cool.

  • @Daytonaman675 hell to the yes bro. the 4 rotor aka 26b... can make a better engine on the track than any modified v12 f1 engine. i used to have an rx7. but switcheed to hatchbacks for the fuel efficiency and a low engine maintenance. pretty cool if you ask the true eco mechanics.

  • @45Mang well its actually easier to rebuild a rotary engine then a v8 since a rotary only has 3 moving parts :P just a few seals and you are done... easy for even a new builder... but yes if you run lean you will go through those seals... but if you go with like ceramic seals and new housings then they will last a good 200k on a boosted motor :) with proper tuning that is haha

  • @Tj1056 with proper tuning and low boost.... high boost I doubt you make it anywhere near 200k

  • @Texarmageddon on stock seals no... I wouldn't even single turbo on stock seals...

  • Very nice!!

  • Hinsonsupercars do you guys offer fully built ls1 rx7s LHD. Thinking it might be cheaper to buy a rx7 fully built from you guys i live in Ontario Canada.

  • very nice.. 501rwhp ls7.. did you have to do anything to the rear end to be able to hold that power?

  • No, the Mazda rear end will hold this power level with the customer's intended use of the vehicle and wheel/tire combination. Thanks.
