It's not just the dunk, it's the speed Drexler had. Fastest player in the open court in perhaps the history of the league. This was when he was almost 33 years old. After knee surgeries. And he's flying.
@shaqpopcorn34: LOL. You clearly weren't alive or weren't paying attention when Drexler was in his prime.
Jordan moved his feet quicker. Even Drexler will admit that.
Clyde covered more ground with each stride, though, like a triple jumper. In the half-court, that meant he could, as Rick Adelman said, cover ten feet of space faster than anyone. And once he got going, he would have outdistanced Jordan with his long strides. It was like a Porsche vs. a Ferrari.
watched this game , as i did all Clyde games. Went atlanta to watch him and he threw down a nasty one and had behind the back pass to Barkley, who really hurt that team , for a nice slam. The Joe frazier of the NBA!!!!!
Maxwell was apart of the team during the regular season but after the first game of the 95' playoffs he went out with an injury.
"Mad Max" later said it was because of the "lack of playing time" he was getting playing behind Drexler. Either way Maxwell still has 2 championship rings.
HOLY SHAWN BRADLEY, BATMAN! That's called getting posterized. Drexler had enough elevation to dunk an earthball on that one. What a great title run that was.
Stupid refs now days would call that a charge.

Kenny Smith, Vernon Maxwell, Mario Elie, Robert Horry, and Sam Cassell. Rockets The most prolific 3 point shooting team to ever win a championship.

hmm i didnt know that thanks. i thought they just fired him after he complained too much.
well i dont consider him a part of this houston team, even if he did get a ring, he was not a part of their magical playoff run.

I love any play where the Spurs look like clowns or posterized.
