So is anyone of this a result of his changes for UMvC3? Cause I thought all he got was his throw taking meter. I ask cause Shuma's generally considered a very low damage character and suddenly this comes out of nowhere! I know it's tough to pull off but you could shorten it easily to make a more accessible combo.

@HotDogMarchant shuma isn't low damage in the corner. his no-assist, 1 meter bread and butter does 700,000 and you can use another meter at the end of it to go to 850,000

Okay I have a serious question: How in the hell do people play this game? My friend let me borrow it, and I've put like 5-6 hours into it and it just seems like a cluster fuck in a blender. I mean maybe I'm missing it, but if I fight anyone remotely good, all it takes is ONE punch to land, and I should just set my controller down. Because there is no way to break out of a combo. It just doesnt seem fair. What am I missing?

@0ion The game is overwhelming at first, don't feel bad at all. One thing to get a grip on is controlling space around you to keep people out. A lot of assist attacks are good for creating breathing room and giving you time to think, such as Sentinel's assist. Damage wise, the way to look at it is that each character is 1/3rd of the life bar in a 1 on 1 game. So devising combos to kill a character is a major strategy. The game compensates by powering up X-Factor for remaining characters.

but theres also layers of strategy to the cluster fuck....its just takes time to get used to, that you're not gonna see in a matter of hours/days. Start reading shoryuken's UMVC3 forums if you wanna level up!
