INSURANCE COMPANIES! Let me explain, the aliens had an insurance policy protecting them in case of human mass media broad casting. The insurance companies didn't want to pay out, so they came in and covered up the alien screw up by assassinating all the humans that saw it...except for the two crazy guys.

if its true then its a matter of who hid it. but keeping these things under wraps is usually beneficial to the gov't because then the population doesnt see hard evidence and flip out, or refuse to believe it and reject our government. dividing this hypothetical country and......CAUSING A REVOLUTION?!?!?!? maybe this is how we should have gotten rid of castro instead of poisoning cigars etc etc
