actually you can get better 'endless' 1-ups in this level without having the risk to die, making you to sacrifice more. Just control your jump. Jump to the left instead of right.

The best endless 1-ups is at the World 2.

I would rather prefer to get the 5 1UP mushrooms in the game and repeat until 99 lives. I did it once, only took me 15 minutes!

world 8 ship has really fast and easy 1 ups , a lot of cannon firing easy to consequently bounce off like 30 then continue on your way
