  • Wow,I found a new George Carlan.

  • Because in the 80's Regan promoted laissez faire free market capitalism. Corporations and govt lobbyists were happy to adhere to the free market principles that suited them but conveniently chose not to adhere to those that didnt, like going bankrupt and not taking huge government bailouts. More a failure of free marketers to get the full message across. Too bad...

  • @jimberkt You're missing the point.

These Corporations and Lobbyists believe in survival and continuity which is the lifeblood of capitalism in this country.

No company worth its salt believes in real competition.

Competition is something you put up with until you can dominate the market and buy out or kill your competitors and thus become a monopoly.

    So-called freemarket principles don't apply.

They have no problem put out a free market message-they simply don't believe in it.

  • This video should have 20 million hits.

  • I've thought about this type of thing a lot lately.

  • I recall dairy farmer co-ops dumping tanker truck of milk on the roadside rather than sell it below their cost. However, there are other ways to increase their price rather than hormones. Another bad one is diethyl sylbesterol which is a KNOWN carcinogen.

  • This guy is so self-absorbed. He's more concerned about illiciting the next laugh than he is about making people more governmentally conscious.

  • @reivenlocke I disagree. Most people are so oppressed that humor is needed to get the message across and retained in their memory. Thus, his brand of communication will more likely result in people taking substantive action.

  • THANK YOU!!! This needs to be said more often.

  • Think about it America... Milk cartons would pile up to the rafters in a FEW DAYS.. YES... DAYS. The Grocery's would LOWER the price in attempts to move it. Then they would Dump it down the drain.. scratch their heads while the next wave of un-purchased milk drowned them. Then this Hormone enhanced milk problem would fade away.... Really. there is nearly no effort in this.. Just dont buy it... do we see Ronco zit poppers in the market anymore... take a guess why... stand up America.

  • Do you want Bovine Growth Hormone in your Milk ? ... 3 simple steps will stop it...

    1) contact Monsanto, simply say "We the people will not buy Milk with your product in it" 2) when you go to your local grocery, hand the manager of the store a letter saying the same thing...

    3) actually do steps 1-2 and Don't buy the Milk.. Then a chain reaction of Lost Income will force them to stop it.... 303 million us citizen against a hand full. THE TIME IS NOW. THE MASSES HAVE THE POWER. its that easy

  • Sexed up milk. LOL.

  • Due to the price of dairy products now. I've luckily given up dairy for a while. Just not affordable anymore. I on ocassion will purchase a quart of Silk Milk just for the "taste" of milk. Which from which I understand does not have the "growth Hormones" that milk has because it's organic. Anyway, just my 2 cents in this You Tube video. :)

  • I live in Portland, Maine, home of Oakhurst Dairy... who had to defend themselves against Monsanto (and the very pro-corporate judicial system) on this very case. They lost, having only $600K in legal funds, which is no match against Monsanto's virtually unlimited cache.

If they had their way, it wouldn't be legal to grow our own produce in our backyards.

  • That is disgusting.

It's a good thing we have people like hightower.

  • Monsanto is also behind NAIS which is a Federally mandated livestock registration that would force ANYONE who owned chickens, goats, rabbits, ducks, geese, pigs, cows, even possibly dogs, cats, & fish to have their animals inspected annually, registered & licensed at a HUGE cost to small farmers/homesteaders. It would also force you to hand over your livestock to USDA inspectors upon demand. Of course, large corporate farms would only have to have one blanket registration for their animals!
