They don't need shieldblock, 75% block from redoubt when it procs, which it does often. With a certain talent they receive more +healing when their hp is lower. Blizzards trying to close the gap between druids,warriors, and pally so that people don't depend on just one kind of tank.

paladins actually have: redoubt (10% chance on hit for 30% more block, 5 charges), holy shield (30% more block, 8 charges) so their "shield block" skills are more reliable over time then the 2 charges shieldblock has, furthermore in place of shieldwall, they CAN use divine shield (100% immunity) b/c that doesn't wipe them off the aggro charts, plus they have ardent defender, below 35% hp, they take 30% less damage

Pally tanks can hold packs of mobs without consecrating. Just keep holy shield up, blessing of sanctuary and retribution aura. When you block, you generate aggro (+35%), 8 charges. Basicly, pallys block every single hit they recieve, so you don't need much block rating with the right specc. I am a pally tank myself, and I have no problem tanking heroics and/or Karazhan, and I'll soon start SSC/Gruul. I'm okay with a spell damage sword, 500 defense and 12.6k hp unbuffed.

The curator is a simple enuf boss, he jst takes ages 2 kill, keeps makin annoyin sparks that attack healers/dps, and takes lotsa damgage wen he evocates, so all out nuke then, and then conserve mana untill next evocation, bt he enrages after a while of fightin. (im a 70 hunter on executus realm)

Any Guild that is using a pally tank on illidan is taking a HUGE risk. Pallys Cannot tank Illidan in BT, which is considered the Final Boss in the game. To tank Illidan you MUST have a 100% shield block percentage otherwise Shear kills you.

Yeah...when I have Redoubt and Holy Shield up I have a 90% chance to block. I only have 1 epic too. So why the hell would someone in full epics not be able to hit 100% block? At 70 1 Shield Block Rating comes out to .1%. Pretty sure you can get a good amount of rating with full epics.

pally tanks are very gear dependant becuz of the situation they rely on mana 2 tank if they run out raid is wiped this is why most would rather have a druid or warrior so they can rely on built up rage (they also need a decent amount of +spell dmg) just 2 help hold aggro

well you see everytime he gets a heal he gets mana. Its a passive ability called Spiritual Anonement wehre it gives you liek 30% of the healed amount in mana so if he keeps getting healed he wont run out of mana
