  • Some well-meaning commentators here are not thinking about the demands of television vs. vaudeville. Vaudevillians could do the same seven minute act tens of thousands of times over ten or twenty or more years. Not so simple to keep the TV furnaces fed.

  • Gus was a highly underrated actor...this is from "Good News"...wish they'd out this on DVD.

  • got a little cap'n in 'em at 2:08

  • sooo funny and cute! especially when the guy went to her back and they started acting as one. I love the facial expressions he made!! Classic entertainment indeed!

  • Ah Bessie Love...If you haven't seen it, go check out Broadway Melody Of 1929, it won an Oscar for best film that year! Sadly, Anita Page, Love's co-star, just passed away not too long ago.

  • These two are ADORABLE!

  • Modern entertainers have forgotten how to entertain. In fact, the very word, "Entertainment," has become a bad word.

  • @LazlosPlane Yeah im sure people these days would love to see this kind of entertainment, charged at $60 a ticket...

Entertainment is a paradigm, it changes with culture, the same way our perceptions of human beauty have changed over time and continue to.

    its evolution, get over it.

  • Bessie Love was so adorable!

  • Best laugh I've had in years!

    Modern entertainers have forgotten

    how to do visual comedy.

  • So Cute!
