I used to think love and forgiveness were the only two commandments, but they aren't. Faith that Jesus is the only way because no one else ever gave their life for you, and also stay true to all the commandments as these are life saving, all have earthy consequences. We were told to confess ALL your sins - you'll be forgiven. Also we were told then TO TURN AWAY from sin, so not just confess it but also turn away from it.

I used to think love and forgiveness were the only two commandments, but they aren't. Faith that Jesus is the only way because no one else ever gave their life for you, and also stay true to all the commandments as these are life saving, all have earthy consequences. We were told to confess ALL your sins - you'll be forgiven. Also we were told then TO TURN AWAY from sin, so not just confess it but also turn away from it.
The afterlife with Jesus has LAWS like a family home to keep it safe.

In the Bible Jesus tells a ruler of the Jews to see the Kingdom of God he had to be "born of the water and the spirit". This is the "new birth experience". Peter preached the same message again on the Day of Pentecost Acts 2:38. Baptism in Jesus' Name and receiving the Holy Ghost is the "New Birth".
