Im shocked that the SC didn't work that nice. I was convinced that it was have a lot better throttle response, even if it did have less peak. I'd just have to hope that there is someway to move the flashing dials to make it a less annoying daily driver
I feel like you may have understated starting problems. What is 'really friggin' cold in portland? I would have also liked to see warm starting/idle, being one of your major gripes with the VF car.
You also immediately starting using words like 'amazing' to describe the hpf car and justified quirks (clutch chatter) with long-term experience with the car rather than immediate observation.
I don't drive a bmw, so i'm not a potential customer of either company. It just didn't seem very objective.
Thanks for making me drool on my shirt! lol anyway my question is i live in northern canada, how does your turbo's act for driving in colder climates? like right around the 0 celcius mark? any difference? and if i were to buy and ship you a late model m3 what would the rough ballpark figure be to have your stage 2 hpf bought installed be?
Turbos and Superchargers LOVE cold air!. Cold air is denser than warmer air. Denser means it has more oxygen per volume.... which means u get MORE POWER!
Maybe you guys should offer a software upgrade to the VF hardware kit. I think that could be a compromise for people who don't want to switch because of price and whatnot.
my question is ur shop a strictly performance modification shop or is it a mechanic shop aswell as in diagnosing and repairs?
as much as i love ur videos and the cars you build making some wicked power. when you have some things that are causing the vehicle to run weird such as the in this video the rpm fluctuating or the sputter at 2000rpm when you floor it you seem just extremely puzzled
@TiAg328ci i understand its not their kit and im sure vf has had problems with their tuning. but i was just simply asking if there were purely a performance shop?

that jerk at 10:20...isnt that just cause youre flooring it and you have the traction control on?

@MatiManya571 If you listen to before he leaves the parking lot, he says he turns off the traction control.
KNDoctor87 1 year ago
@MatiManya571 his traction control light would start blinking rapidly at 10:20 if his tires were spinning

@heyman421 very cold in Portland is 20 degrees, but it rarely gets there. normal cold is 37 degrees.

That surge is the motor begging you to remove the VF supercharger kit and put on a HPF turbo kit.

@jjkoens Thats not their kit. VF engineering is entirely different from HPF. VF has always seen problems in tuning
