  • How many cars does this track hold?

  • @Nascarboy426 29 i think

  • @erasetoimprove does this work for mac?

  • Is there any way you could send me this game? If so write me a comment on my page... sorry for the name.

  • kewlio nice drivin. keyboard?

  • @LeeHarume955 nah xbox 360 controller. I haven't used keyboard in over 10 years... however I must say the days that I did use keyboard taught me a very important aspect of driving in itself.

  • yea. i use a logitect wheel now. I cant get fraps to record well on my comp to show it tho

  • changing the recording size to half size in fraps will help with frame rate. Also remember that the videos come out less jerky than it appears WHILE you are recording, some of the low FPS in fraps is attributed to the amount of resources it takes to actually record and play a game at the same time. So as long as you can keep your skill up in low FPS (something that's not too hard if you played computer games in the 90s lol) you'll get a good video as long as it says FPS is over 9 or 10.

  • @erasetoimprove How did you use a 360 controller? like programing the controls and stuff...? help?

  • If you have windows vista or later, you can simply plug a xbox 360 controller into your USB and it will detect it. It's easier just getting a non-wireless but if you want wireless you need to buy an adapter. If you have before windows vista you need to download the xbox360 driver for windows which can be found at the MS website or looking for it in search engine. I also recommend downloading XBCD which helps further customize the controls. Hope this helped!

  • once you have your xbox 360 controller plugged in and drivers installed, just go into controller options in windows and calibrate it, then go into the game options and do the same followed by setting the buttons up how you want em.

  • @erasetoimprove ok, thank you very much. but do you have any technique you use for blowovers? (just curious because ive done everything everybody else has said to do and it hasnt worked :/

  • well to be honest with you it's usually the videos with unintentional bad crashes that people will rate you well for. All my crash videos are with no intentional ones. First you need to adjust your setup and the AI strength so that your draft speeds exceed 196 or so MPH. This requires some redoing of the gears and car balance and usually tape can go up to 60% and last all race, but 65% and only lasts a few laps. Second, you need to have yourself properly positioned and you need to do the

  • right things at the right times. Wait until just over 50% down the back stretch and back off the gas just a little bit, but make sure you stay above like 193 or so.... and let someone catch you on the inside just as you pass the half way point of the back stretch (assuming it's daytona). Then just as he gets to your corner panel, GENTLY come down across his nose and just after you start getting turned act like you're trying to correct by countersteering. In most cases, you'll keep spinning

  • but not too quickly and not too slowly, and if done correctly (which takes perfecting) you'll get pretty airborne and flip over, but how spectacular the resulting flips are depends mainly on luck. Also make sure that you click on your player name in the PLAYERS FOLDER in the NR2003 directory and then click on the PLAYER.INI file and open it, then change the roof flap setting from 1 to 0.

  • but as I said, it's the natural wrecks that tend to look more spectacular. My accidental blowovers are no different, they just LOOK cooler when not on purpose.

  • @LeeHarume955 plus I could never do throttle control that well with keyboard. The steering I know seems jerky but if you get a good lap going the track is essentially a circle so you kind of have to swing it around at times. Plus I probably had steering lock set too low, only my 2nd time driving on the track.

  • wow cool man thanks!

  • @Pmr358 glad you liked it! This track is quite a challenge even on a simulator. I had to use only 3 gears to get the car the way I wanted to.

  • @Pmr358 seemed like I couldn't get enough corner exit bite no matter what i did in 4th gear lol... then again these were 1971 Cup Cars which may have been the issue.
