  • Stupid !

  • This because it y' has play in the crown

  • Um, simulates vinyl just fine if you as me. I really like this deck. If only it read WAV files on DVD like the CDJ2000 does....

  • Lol, You must have been fired from Panasonic or something. Because your taking all this time making these videos trying to make their product look bad. It doesn't work, Sorry

  • This "dj" never use vinyls, i see. The "vinyl emulation" of SLDZ is absolutely PERFECT! Hey mr. Scandal, you can adjust the drag effect on a real SL-1200 MK2?

I think that sh*t is promoter of Denon or Pioneer

  • I don't really see this "drag" as a problem. As far as my little knowledge is concerned, it is resembling a vinyl turntable.

  • it was funy to see him press the instant play button like it would change how his braking is set

  • braking speed is adjustable at the back of the sl-dz1200 turntable and why is his scratching all of a sudden fine on the it?

  • for the drug you have only to turn a bit out the 2... i don't know how they're called!

  • yo man, thanx for settin da record straight, not dissing Technics but they shud stick wit 1200...in CDJ world they loose out to Denon and Pioneer techs. (Damn nearly bought a Technics), peace

  • I have never left responses on youtube, bu this garbage deserves one. First of all, this fool obviously never Dj'd using vinyl. If he did, he would realize they're actually accurate. I got my first 1200's back in 1988 when I was in HS. Yes 1988. I've been doin this for quite some time and these dz1200's are very good. Not the same as the OG's, but very good.

  • this dude is garbage he need to get off youtube..how come he never show his face on here

  • You'd think that if "Dj" Scandal was so unsatisfied with the DZ decks that he would have sold them a long time ago, and simply replaced them. But intead he keeps them so he can bullshit online and perhaps get paid a few bucks by either Pioneer and/or Denon. Then there's this reposter dude, who clearly is also another broke ass trying to make a few bucks off of Denon for his box of Donuts for breakfast (see nypdcar1's video where he's doing a demo at a hotel for Denon decks). Broke ass toy dj's.

  • once again another pointless sldz1200 bash. the result hes looking for on the technics simply require hitting the pause/play button. plus drag is desirable sometimes, if you insist on using the platter then give it a push dummy.

  • LOL @ 0:32 "No drag" are you deaf? there is drag. Maybe not as bad as the technics, but there is drag...

  • dude the sldz1200 was made for 2 reasons 1. to compete against pioneer and denon 2.(mane reason) it was a way for turntable djs to come in to the cd world it helps they respond like true decks and the size is benefiting to vinyl djs coming into to cd djing

  • hahah it seems they got no direct drive! I never tried these products but i think thechnics can't fail like this..Sure!!!!!

    Save the vynil! Peace

  • man wouldn't you be getting "a lot of drag" on a real record if u did that anyway??

  • try using the pitch lock

  • Whats the name of the song ?

  • hey bro i say more power to you man keep doin what you do k i love denon and pionneer but what song was that you were scrathing ?

  • Agree with the below YouTuber. But also, to be honest, I'm just a house DJ and would only go or CD's in the future for the exspense aspect, and ease of transporting CD's. If it can't scratch well, thats doesn't bother me. The DZ1200 appears to be the most 'real' looking and sounding CDJ, compared to vinyl.

  • Taludsito you mention that the CDJ is so easy that everyone could do it is if that is a bad quality to have... Everyone should be ABLE to use it. Its the skills that you bring to the table that make you a DJ, not the fact that you can figure out how to properly utilize your equipment. Thats a given. CDJ > SLDZ

  • Taludsito is wright, Denon isn't bad but i think that the Technics is just better, and the pioneer for sure is a great player and easy to use, even so easy that kids could mix with it. Real DJ's who use SL-1200's can tell the difference the Technics aren't so bad as you think they are....

  • What I meant was great point that drjackohollious made, This video is propaganda, the DZ is really the best CDJ on the market. Go to your local music store, try every CDJ for yourself, in the end your #1 choice will be the Technics SL-DZ1200 you'll see

  • loool, dudeee you should stop making those videos, now i see that you are just deepshit, if you know how to use the technics you would realize that, you need to adjust the spinning stop effect, daaaaaa is just basic logic, but i see you dont have it, keep using denon belt drive shit, and with pioneer is so damm easy that everyone could do it
