hey catherine of aragon remains my fav. i read in some book that henry8 told his daughter mary &his illegimate son that anne was planning to kill them! ,finish him off too!. rule later on as regent to elizabeth. mary had asked her father to be lenient so asto be seen as kind -hearted husband & king. she was shocked to hear this news ...guess this made her suspicious of everything protestant.

Actually? He did that because he still loved Anne and the French method was seen as less painful. He loved her right to the end, I think, he just needed a son.

Anne Boleyn was a liar, extremely cruel and an adultress, but im not fully convinced she commited Incest with her brother, and im certainly not in favour of Annes execution nor Catherine Howards 6 years later.

@j0andc0 anne didnt cheat on henry, he wanted her dead because he wanted a son, and that was the thing she coudnt gave him.. he sacrificed everything to get married with her that he coudnt just divorce her, the people of england would think he wanted to get rid of another wife just like he did with catherine.. have you ever read the real facts? the historians confirm this story as true, sorry if i wrote something that was not correctly spelled, im dutch..

Why did they show the axe, when Anne wasn´t executed by axu but by sword??? That´s quite a stupid mistake to make for a trailer...

But otherwise the trailer is really cool...

If you wanted the second season of it the do use the swordsman they hired from France. The axe was just there in the trailer to symbolize upcoming events.

Yeah I noticed cause I'm obessed with history lol, I like the fact that showtime would do that yet no one seems to have picked up on it. I like Anne's letter because it is calm in a way but it says a lot about her personality even near death she still showed her feisty side and use her wit.

Yeah I know. She was going half mad and yet she had the courage to write so calmly. What I am really suprised at is that I didn't pick up on the 'till death do us part' but of the letter, because that is a damn powerful statement. She really was fesity.

I remember the let not my enemies sit as my council bit, though, its kind of weird to put in a trailer is she didn't actually write it.

Well til death do us part wasn't in the letter that was just showtime putting that in because Anne dies by the sword so for entertainment really. Anne had a lot of strength and even though she did go half mad towards her exacution she was quite calm and happy, because she really did see it as the end to her suffering. I could never write a letter like that if I was in her position, people may not like Anne Boleyn but she was an incrediable person. She wasn't perfect she had her flaws and bad-

Yeah she did. I feel guilty about liking her whenever I think about what she did to Catherine and Mary. But she truly was an incredible person, brave and principled and a lady who left an incredable legacy after only a tragically short life :(
