THIS IS PURE NONSENSE TO SAVE THE MYTH OF HYDROCARBON ENERGY... WE HAVE OCEANS FULL OF WATER.. IF WE SPLITT THE CLEAN HYDROGEN FROM THE WATER WE HAVE MORE ENERGY FOR THE NEXT MILLION YEARS..... CHECK THE WEBSITE FROM ITM-POWER IN THE UK...
@sebastian56261 do you realise that splitting the water atoms will by defenition cost as much energy as it will generate trough hydrogen fuel (assuming 100% efficiency)? H2 is a good energy carrier, but the energy still has to come from some renewable source (wind, solar water turbines) to make it truly renewable.
I would assume you are referring to the type of planning that East Germany, and Russia had in play. Certainly it can't be the Chinese drift from central planning to a capital market. Ask Spain how their Green planning is working out
There are a couple of worthy assessments in this video, though nothing particularly insightful. Platitudes aside, it puts forward the orthodox position on markets, and suggests that there is a scenario in which people will solve our problems because it is profitable to do so. The notion of efficient markets has never had much empirical support, and has been recognized as a terrible method for resource allocation even by the orthodoxy. Blueprint indeed. Our problems require economic planning
We use and abuse HC Comb. Alternative domestic energy devices are not use to find and the stuffd are expensive. I use some garden solar power battery lights however expensive, Solar water heating sytem at my country house, and a flex fuel (etanol) car... But an flex and Hybrid car is my consume dream good.
I want your input on how to encourage my local community to build pedestrian / cyclist friendly paths from the residential to the business so we can do low consumption - health promoting - transportation.
They just don't seem to think the investment in safe paths is worth the effort.
