Yes, we the US have used it on people as a last resort and after informing the Japanese that it was going to rain fire on them. They ignored us so we avoided an invasion and used the bomb. The atomic bombings were done during wartime, and they were a crucial element in ending the war and prevented an invasion that would have cost much more lives than the atomic bombs. If they were not done the soviets might have had a part of Japan just like with Korea. Learn the history before you make blind accusations.
