The horses are thin, underfed. . which cuts back on energy that can cause him problems. They're just on the brink of showing bones. They're not as energetic as they should be - and I don't like the "laying down" of horses at all. Takes the life out of them. Sitting? That's not good training.
I can see obedience - how he commanded such obedience isn't shown - but there is a big whip-cracking. Not that great at all.

He would jump logs, come to my call, I would lay between his legs and rest, no harm. If he was scared he would run behind and stand at my shouder. We used to play chasings for fun but game over just call and he would come. I could lunge in a 60 acre paddock, walk,trot,canter,turn, stop, come in -easy,
