It's quite sad that the Palestinian Arabs could not find it in their hearts to welcome the Jewish refugees back into the land of Israel. Had they done so, both sides would have dwelt peacefully together and prospered right from the beginning.

Mr. Kasrils labors quite hard to draw his parallel between Israel and South Africa, but upon closer examination, the parallel is a farce.

1) The Africans were indeed the native population and the whites had no right to take their land from them. Period. The Jewish people are the original, indigenous people of the land of Israel, going back 3,000 years from the time Moses led them to the banks of the river Jordan. There has been a Jewish presence in the land for almost all of those 3000 yrs.

Its great that the reaction of Kasril's despicable behavior is even more vile anti-semitism, and further validation that Israel is important and necessary
