fear 2 and fear 1 are set pretty much in the same time. in the end of fear 1 theres a explosion,at the end of fear 2:s first interval theres a big explosion. in fear 1 alma went into the choppar which probably was the one that crashed in elementary level in fear 2.

I saw my sister play this, I scare easily and all the time she walks upon a door she does baby steps, me I just want to get over with the scare, I bought it, turns out this game ain't as scary as it seems. Dead Space isn't entirely scary, it's more the "Jump out at you" kind of scared, and that's it.. there's almost no atmosphere save for a few levels. Fear is terrifying because it's SO atmospheric, and things barely leap out at you.. you just catch a glimpse of them in the corner of your eye. Just like Jaws was terrifying because you barely see the shark, Fear is scary because you rarely see Alma, while in Dead Space, you see the Necromorphs all to often, but hey, they're both fun! :D
