Ahh thank you!!! I've been trying to learn knitting again after forgetting how and have been trying to use books infront of a mirror to try and make sense of it. And here I thought I'd never knit again!
my mum can only get so far in a knitting pattern as with her being left handed it turns out wrong but i read somewhere that if following a patterns and knitting backwards you have to convert the pattern is this correct or do you just follow them as normal but backwards. ie if it says to k2 p2 do turn these and p2 k2 or just k2 p2 backwards.
thanks it may sound stupid but we are beginner knitters lol:-)
Thanks! I am trying to learn form a righty book, according to the ilustration my result was accurate, but it was sooo uncomfortable I knew something was wrong...watching your video showed me just how to get it right! Thanks!!!
THANK YOU !!!!! I am left handed and been trying to figure this out on my own with no luck. Then I thought try youtube, and found this in 30 seconds. 8-)
this method of purling works if you have your leading leg on the BACK of your needle. If the leading leg of your knit stitch sits on the FRONT of your needle, you need to purl a different way. I am working on a DVD (to be release within the month) for left-handed knitting. You can email me if you are interested in purchasing a copy. Thanks!
wow okaayyy.

Thanks so much for this video!! I learned from a book that taught right-handed and didn't know how I was doing it wrong. Your video really helped.

Very useful, thank you. I've been stuggling to work out how to purl by watching right-handers, but it hasn't clicked until now. Thanks again!
