@supermancrashin If you look at my newer videos you'll see that's fixed. Also he gains the energy sphere power in Mount Kollapso from Ly when Rayman first meets her. Ly mistakes Rayman for Dark Rayman and chases him down the collapsing mountain (hence the name). Ly gets stuck and Rayman saves her, proving that he's the real Rayman and she grants him the shooting power.

So at the beginning of the game Rayman won't have the shooting power. The ray shot power acts as a rechargeable ammo system.
