There is only one way to Heaven, through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. These types of "Fire & Brimstone" sermons may touch the hearts of those who don't believe in God. It's not fear. It's explaining what is in store for them if the reject the One True God. Many still reject Him. It's their choice; it's their life. We can't lie to coverup the truth.

If I thought or knew my family was going to Hell, I would do EVERYTHING I could to prevent it. First, you pray, beg God to hear & listen to you. He will hear you, but it's up to you to pray to Him. If you ask Him to show you if He is real, He will, maybe not today, but soon. You can ask Him what you're supposed to do, but if you hate Him so much, you may have to ask Him several time to help you. There are many ways He can let you know. Our Heavenly Father is like our earthly father. The more you help, talk with, go with your father down here, you learn more about him. Same with God.
