i still don't understad why the Lakers selected James Worthy, they were champions the season before he entered the league as nº1 pick, i thought that was for the last season's worst team
Screw Kobe Bryant and Lebron James! They're all show nowadays! Kareem Adbul-Jabar, Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Steve Nash Carmelo Anthony, Shaq in the 80's into 90's up to now. Charles Barkley could play and he was actually in shape then with the Suns!
One more note: I'm glad you kept the original calls in, which reminds me: A SPEC-TACULAR MOVE! That has to be in the next version if you ever make one.
About the vid: very entertaining stuff. Some highlights missed from earlier years might be Dr. J's fast break dunk over Cooper, Willis Reed's entrance, Jerry West's half-court buzzer beater. Basically, you could just look at the NBA's 60 Greatest Moments series and just put most of those in. Maybe some iconic dunk contest dunks? Or Bird holding the finger up after winning the 3-point contest? Can't get everything I guess. Also, that random LeBron clip sticks out like a sore thumb. Liked it a lot
@freddiegibbs101 Yeah the 2000's are portrayed very vaguely and poorly. It seems like a biased or casual fan perspective. But whatever. People can do (and say) whatever they want.
@supersoberguy1 wow a reasoned response. I apologize for my comment then, I agree the 2000s was very scattered and missed huge chunks (no Spurs for instance) and instead had a bunch of plays by players that didn't even win the whole thing (Kobe against the Suns, Baron, LeBron).
Great video. The only thing that I didn't understand is why you put so much LeBron? I mean, he didn't dominate the 00's. Where are all Kobe's buzzer beaters? Shaq's dominance? The badass 04' Pistons? The great title run by the Spurs?
It looks like LBJ was the player that marked the decade. The polls about The Best Player of the Decade was published last year and LeBron was nowhere near the top.
Awesome video, but two things. One, I don't get the random LeBron clip in the middle of the 1980's (4:09), and also there's not enough of MJ and the Bulls!
What song is this?
