That's awesome. I have a Cylon costume that I wear to the cons and I'm interested in finding out how you did the leg motion sound effects. I have been trying to figure out more robotic sounds for mine. I already have the warble sound and a voice changer. The only thing I can think of is MP3 players activated every time you take a step.

...I tried to watch the new BSG but they changed so much i just couldnt take it anymore! :)...One day i'll force myself to watch the whole thing just to say " Ya, i watched it "....:)...So whats next? Are the studios gona FUBAR the "new" BUCK ROGERS!?...

.....This is the costume they should of used in the new BSG tv series not the fake looking CGI ones. plus they had human looking cylons?! and they changed the main characters too, they turned starbuck into a girl! OMG no they didnt, YES THEY DID, Aaaargh! WTF were the studios thinking!? they totally destroyed the BSG name brand! just like Luca$ destroyed the Star Wars Universe with his Prequels! I think all the BSG purists should get together and show the studios how to reboot the series...

Well Steve, I must Agree with you regarding the New BSG Series... But I Must say this.... I really Enjoyed watching the New BSG Series... It too was a GREAT SHOW! I think they should have called the Show Something else besides "Battlestar Galactica"

There were many Battlestars in the Colonial Fleet they could have done a Spin off show with. Also like you, I was disappointed when they changed Boomer, Starbuck and Commander Cain into Women. I do agree with providing Women Character Roles with more Substance and positions of power in the show... I just wish they didn't Re-Imagine the Galactica Cast....

As for Boomer? In the 70's he was a Communications Genious and a Positive Role model for young African American boys like ME back in the Day! And making TIGH a DRUNK??? Whoa! In the New Series the Characters had little to No cohesion... Its a Dark Series but enjoyable.

@emelson01 I appreciate the TOS for nostalgia value, but the campness was through the roof. Hatch was the only decent actor in the damn show, and the suits killed any kind of edge the show might have had about halfway through the pilot.. Michelle Forbes as Cain had more balls than all the male actors in the TOS put together & Katee Sackhoff certainly has way more than that ass Dirk Benedict ever had, but his version was gay for Apollo, anyway. And lets not forget the awesomeness of RDM's Baltar.

@iwantmorelifefucker I can agree with you on several points when Comparing the Character Traits between the Old and the New. But then again, you have to look at the ERA "1970's" compared to now! I Honestly Cannot Compare! The Two Shows were made for Two Different Generations. I stand Firm in my attitude wishing that the Creators of the New BSG would have used a Different Ship and created a Spin Off with New Characters. I Love Both Shows but Feel like the TOS was Disrepected some how...

Hey Steve, you are absolutely Correct!!!  The Costume is extremely Hot inside... There are no micro fans to keep me cool. Just a few air ducts here and there. Walking keeps the costume ventilated and somewhat cool... Good Luck on your Tron outfit!

That costume is intense man! Too bad they couldn't have slipped you in the New Galactica in a flashback episode with young Bill Adama. Coulda been a Cylon commander cause your badass in that. You have to get a shot of you and Vader standing next to each other in the future. Two best looks in sci-fi. Happy New Year bro!

I'm a BSG fan from WAY back in the day,[i was like 14]and the Cylons were the best faceless impersonal villians around.

They still had a lot of flair and personality however,just in their design.

I have never been able ,in the 30 odd years since the series,to even build a Colonial Warrior uniform,due to budget and illnesses,so it does my heart much good to watch and admire the work of someone like you sir.

Her Name is Barbara Luna.... She played on Buck Rodgers as Hawk's Wife.. She also played on Star Trek 'Mirror, Mirror" as the Captains Woman. amongst other roles.... Very Nice Lady she is!
