i dont think there is any gold there..i lived there when my husband was in the army back in 98-2001..we passed by there all the time cus the housing is right there next to the vault..it just seems to open and not so secure. but i dont know..who knows.
The Federal Reserve owns NO gold. The gold in Kentucky is held by the Treasury Department and the gold in New York is held for private individuals and Government entities. Auditing the FED will do nothing to count how much gold we have. You would have to audit the Treasury Department.

Thus you would have "more" So the only true audit would be to actually bring a scale and weigh batches, calculate the total number of pounds and ounces. If you have money and want gold it is readily available to you. If it was so rare than there would be a huge waiting list and shortages for buyers. If Fort Knox came out and said we have X percent of the worlds supply. It would be equivalent to nuking the global economy. So isnt it obvious why it is impossible to audit them? Fort Knox is holding enough gold to crash the gold market. I'd swear the saying think outside the box means dont believe everything on TV

This is what Lincoln did with the greenbacks... printed instead of borrowing from the banks. A credit card, a mortgage etc is as good as cash in the market... actually, more valuable from the interest collected. Our wages are paid by check, deposited, and drawn with new checks, all completely fictional credit tokens that we believe in. Gov't SHOULD print it.

It is unbelievable that the US Government can hide the contents of Fort Knox since 1951.
