never understood that stupid old tart standing there and making that stupid handsign like "I don't give a f..." ever heard the word "help" ... people like that make me so angry!
@NDoraku you mean that if some one takes risk and can't handle it others should give them advantage by doing nothing? Ullrich made a choice to ride more aggressively, and it has a price. Don't blame others for choosing to ride more safely and choosing other tactics.
It's just out of respect for the person and sportsmanship. Cycling is a different kind of sport. When lance clipped a fans shirt and fell, Ullrich waited for him. I forgot which tour it was.
@qazwsxedcrfvg123 You're right, but when you're the champion & #2 or #3 goes down, your only competition really, it'd just look bad. If you're last place & crash I doubt anybody would wait for you besides maybe a close friend on your team, & thaaat's a maybe.
Also chilling to see Kivilev and Beloki there - the former dead after a crash and Beloki's career ended after that nasty fall when Armstrong went off road. Not surprising helmets were later made compulsory...

Beloki rode like an asshole here.
Ullrich crashes, he attacks.
Ullrich is on his team car, he attacks.
Cheap Beloki!

Now, we know Armstrong had tested positive on 2001 Tour of Switerland.
The great difference between Ullrich and Armstrong was the American had better doctors.

@Adaxsp Armstrong is much more motivated and in shape, when he starts a project, damn hell finish first

Interesting to see that again. I was at that famous bend watching the 2010 race descend (fast!) a couple of weeks ago.
