  • Honestly... I'm sorry. I did watch the video, it looked more along the lines of stage fright/not really knowing which direction to go with something, but people who don't know to much on body language will think "he's just on drugs" and dismiss it. Great video, hope to see more of you! Next time tho... Know what your going to continue discussing, more people will listen. :]

  • SWIM took 4 blots at noon.

"Then I realized that was bullshit."

    Fuck Yeah.

and SWIM will gladly (and currently) tell you, drugs can be grrreat tools for spiritual experience.

  • 03:45 Never heard of this drug?

  • I agree. You need to want to seek the truth. GREAT video, awesome points. The end comment.... LOL!!! right on. much peace&love

  • I think that everyone is free to do what he wants. But I can assure that there isn't any benefit by using drugs. What you feel by using any kind of drug is not an higher state of consciousness, is only a alteration of perception; I absolutely do not want to judge anyone that try those experiences, I REALLY respect any choice; but i can suggest to try to find all the wonderfull feelings by looking inside yourself..It's not a rhetoric..it may be a more genuine and usefull way to understand...:)

  • i can assure you there is a benefit...

  • nothing is not beneficial

  • For me and i'm sure many other people, I don't think of it as a "higher" state, and getting "wonderful feelings" is not the goal either, although that can be a side-product.

You say it is "ONLY" an "altered perception," but for me that is point. On occasion I think it is a good practice to look at things in a different way than you're used to, which helps you realize how you might be conditioned by habits, social constructs, ignorance, etc.

  • who can say weed doesnt make watching these vids better, honestly

  • Yeah man, that was the shittiest part about when they made it illegal. They didnt know that banning "marijuana" was also banning hemp. They only realized when it was too late.

    Good Vid

  • great vid, and good points...namaste

  • I like how it ends lol.. "thats bull shit!"

Really good job on this topic though man, really enjoyed it.

  • "Too many people are just being persons-doing, they need to be human-beings."

    -Nice :]

  • I will say one thing i dont think i will ever do salvia,im frightened too

  • You have to smoke salvia saying Please show me something that will blow my mind or Please show me something that will make me laugh . ....This is perversion of the drugs inherent power and in no way serves a higher good. Such a way of thinking only serves as personal amusement.

  • what chris is saying is that on a certain high ,you may think about somethink that would never of been possible if you were not high, and that idea or vision could help you on your journey through this frustratingly complex plane(EARTH/life)

  • @matywaldy-

Not true. We ALL have access to any information we desire. Seek And Ye Shall Find. Not that drugs will not temporarily give you access to such information, but for our own progress, it is best that we develop our mental and intuitive faculties rather than using drugs that merely give us temporary and uncontrolled insight, which offer no growth. There is no frustration when living in harmony with, and in full understanding of, Divine Law.

  • Im not here for debate ,im here to flow like water my friend, try it some time,it might help you understand the divine law as you put it,and theres not alot of harmony in this world at all, just cocky people that think they r better than the rest,or trying to be.people like you prevoking others.you have no more understanding than the next of the divine, just a different oppinion thats all.

  • No provoking here, just offering a different viewpoint so that others may see all sides of the Truth and then use their own discernment to decide what is best for them. May the Infinite Creator continue to bless you, brother.

  • @EternalWord- I highly disagree. When you are asking a drug/entheogen to "show you something" you're actually acknowledging& respecting its power & only asking that it guide you in a direction you desire- for you know it can take you many places. This is like setting an "intention" for your future experiences: which isnt a "perversion" of reality either- but rather a means of creating your own path. The native Americans would ask plants to guide them the same way- it is of the highest respect.

  • @NinaisAlive- While watching the video I just felt, and still do, that the phrase was of a reckless nature and that we should not use them saying, Show me something cool!, or anything of that nature, which was what I was originally referring to. A plant with such powerful capabilities should definitely be used with the utmost respect and, in regards to what you have said, I fully agree.

  • yeah, sorry about any misunderstandings, but that's what i meant. to respect the drug and understand it's power

  • nah i wasn't high........i'm asian

  • The Spirits of these plant teachers do listen to our intents. It's a spirit communication. If you put a strong intent out there and share your will, you will open yourself up to receive more will from the plant teacher. Sharing will help us understand the divine law better and sharing with other beings even more so. We are here to share until we experience everything... wow when will that be.

  • @TheEternalWord With respect, I think the uploader actually has a similar idea to your own. I believe he's saying that one should have a focused goal in mind prior to doing it that extends past the basic "I want to get high" mentality. That he has chosen to word it the way he did in the video may be a bit easy to misinterpret.

  • I recommend psychoactive drugs with psychoactive music...( Coil)

  • It definitely depends on what you use the drugs for. Kids in my town do whatever drugs they can get their hands on, and are literally high all day every day, and they think by doing that they are "living life to the fullest" but they are really boring people to be around, all they talk about is drugs, even when their high. So it definitely depends what you're using it for and how much you're already developed before you start using it. There is a lot more, but Remaining character count: 5

  • Many more people are taking drugs now and many with the pretext of attaining spiritual development, and all I see is more and more people slept who start with Cannabis (which by the way is addictive) and end up with class A drugs no enlightment there...

  • Chris recommending all drugs, even heroin?

  • The way I understood it, (someone correct me if I'm wrong) it was a suggestion that drug control should be less about prohibiting the substances themselves, and more about encouraging maturity and respect in people who would otherwise abuse those substances... which the frankly patronizing drug PSA's do not encourage.

  • @IWantSoundKnowledge I think what he is saying is think for yourself and make up your OWN godamn mind about it...quit letting other interests tell YOU what you want...if you want to try it then try it. Think for yourself is the message.

  • He was talking about psychoactive drugs, not uppers or downers.

  • he does mention other drugs. but yea thanks for clarifying that for me,

  • See his reason did include all drugs- he wasnt advocating all drugs however. Its just more along the lines that the government should not be our personal babysitters nor parental figures. indivuduals have a right to do with their body as they wish. lol srry if I'm re-iterating- I just wanted to clarify 'cause satrudaychild65 said he wasnt referencing all drugs along the lines of legalization- when he was.

  • What is this crap? Are you actually recommeding drugs to kids? Learn how to open your eyrs for starters and get off this media!

  • He is my friend... and does he look that old himself??? Did you even watch his whole video? He said in 6th grade he made a promise to god he would never use drugs... and then he woke up and realized all the lies and bullshit and that plant teachers like any guides CAN guide us if we are inclined to their guidance.

  • @theinfinitysequence You are correct I did not watch the whole 10 minutes. I couldn't hear more after he started to talk about LSD and the comment - I'm not saying I have done.... It was to upsetting for me knowing what has happened to dear friends of mine. Is he stoned on the video or not because he seems to be? Have a look at the comments and you can see how it was perceived by many. The message you give me here did not come across.

  • hmmm... interesting. Well it is all how you take it. Drugs can be used to destroy consciousness as easy as build it. It is unfortunate the majority of drug use destroys consciousness but that is because the majority of people pushed drugs by governing powers are sad and lonely looking for an escape. If you are looking to find yourself you will not want to dumb yourself out with drugs. But you may every once in a while spice up a ceremony or some other experience in their guidance

  • "spice up a ceremony" thats classicly good

  • TheiGODProject,I agree, but what I think is a major problem is that the word "drug" is used so blatantly. what are "DRUGS"?..anything from prescriptions too coffee?what doesn't fit that category? All Im trying to say is that natural enthoegens, should not fall under the same category as over the counter prescriptions or some chemical born in a test tube, but should be acknowledged as possible consciousness expanding tools. If needed & when used correctly, tools can greatly increase productivity.

  • @edtmwed dude fuck off, drugs are a personal choice no body forces anyone to do it they themselfs chose to do drugs so just cause this guy says that you could spirtualy use drugs doesnt mean he is recommending any of it. i do drugs and im very succesful and ive been useing weed lsd shrooms peotye and E since 8th grade and im a 4.0 college student and im going to law school on a full ride so fuck off dude

  • @happylife174 if it is a personal choice why this clip. Let me express my opinion if others express theirs. It is always lovely to be asked to fuck off. Your language is wonderful. Good luck with your studies.

  • never taken any psychoactive drug in my life. apart from passive weed..but here i am debating the point of existence, spotting the ignorance and apathy and thoroughly disagreeing with it, and realising that: you will never find 'nothing', humanity is the cancer of the earth however, everything and everyone is One

  • good stuff man, you are not alone = )

  • ps... I don't recomend taking too much. It would have been an easier and more welcome expirience at the time if I had taken a much smaller dosage, but I did have someone there to watch over me and that saved me from the worst effects.

  • I wouldn't be at the spiritual point I am now if it weren't for a misguided use of magic Mushrooms. I took too much and had an overwhelming expirience to the point where I spent the rest of the night under the covers. Dispite all this it opened up channels that were closed before and caused me to start my journey of looking into the spirit realm. They shouldn't be used as a crutch, but they can help people start on the road.

  • Definitely, my experiences on Cannabis shown me that drugs can "show" you for a while that the road is not straight (literally and methaporically).

When high, thinking about a thing that i thought i had a solid idea about, changed totally.

Btw, the first song is from Explosions in the sky, isnt it?

May the force be with you! (lol)

    Cheers.

  • Is it not wiser to develop ourselves to access the higher worlds from within(By our own conscious effort and directed will), rather than relying on external forces for divine revelation through which we have no control?

  • In my opinion, it is, but if you look into history, from the Chamans of Africa and South America, to the Greek Oracles, have used drugs to achieve spiritual states.

  • @fiscornioman, YouTube should still have National Geographic's "Taboo" episode 14 uploaded: watch?v=TzlkDgd-Eb8

I thought it was interesting. There's also one of the host of BBC's "Tribe" being initiated with Iboga root, I heard he wrote a book, says the high changed his life. watch?v=_gFB4wVPpAU

  • Yes chamans still do, but they have a different culture than ours, in our society drugs are baing taken mainly at parties and as fun no respect what so ever, the plants are sacred and are medicine, we don't even know the right dosis, besides do you know how much a chaman has to learn to guide their people in this way?

  • I respect the plants, i dont smoke cannabis in parties anymore, i know its sacred, i try to be a "modern and personal" Chaman, so that makes no difference with the others, in fact, in our style of life, trying to become a Chaman is just a blessing for itself.

Cannabis is addictive if youre a fool, and if you really want to get hooked to it, like tobacco.

Due to the respect i have towards the plant, i smoke like one time a month.

    Its retroactive.

    Everything depends on the disposition.

  • @TheEternalWord, I found it wiser to expand our consciousness and will: mind IS body, universe IS self. To seek control over understanding or harmony is egoistic. I don't advocate abuse of drugs, not even under the excuse that it's "spiritual", because THAT doesn't come from understanding or harmony, either. But I found asceticism... not necessarily better.

  • Drugs are destroying nations, ask colombians or now mexicans. It is really sad. If you have been illuminated by taking them why can you at least explain what you are talking about it seems you still have a lot to learn Chris.

  • Comment removed

  • the physical effects of drugs are not well studied, but I am sure the is certain degree of damage, why use a drug to attain what you can do with meditation and make it a more genuine experience?

  • Im not saying you are wrong or anything but people are diffrent. Me in Highscool would not go meditate ever. BUT i did go do E... just to "see what this shits about" not to party or anything.. and what i found was a higher state of consiousness, and basicly put me right on the path from there on and honestly i dont spend my time thinking about the unknown anymore.. i just enjoy life

  • had the same kinda thing, mushrooms showed me that i should stop thinking so much and should relax and ride the wave.

After the worse trip of my life i felt like i was a diffrent person. It was amazing, it was like i was emotionally disconnected from this reality there was no bad no good it was just isness.

    amazing stuff

  • dear one, do you know you could have stayed in the trip? I know somebody who had....

  • yup I know I was afraid of that but the routine of the next day made me go back to normal until a few days later i was back.

Its scary I know, but it was worth it on some level though. I know that IF ill do it again i have to take smaller doses.

  • Drugs are short cuts, they clog your auric field for what they give you they are not worth it. You would need a teacher to guide you in the experience and if you are not ready you wouln't make much of the experience.

  • cannabis have been used for thousands of years, and there is science that shows that alcohol is mutch more dangerous than thc. I can not understand how it can be forbidden. Somehow its ok for people to get drunk, get aggressive and kick some asses, but if you take a smoke you are criminal..!!!???! hmmm...thank U Chris for a intresting subject. Namaste

  • Excellent video, mate. Haha, the ending made me laugh.

What was the second song in the background?

  • haha i was hopin at least someone would find it funny!

and its called the antikythera mechanism by BT

  • good video, chris!

  • drugs aren't bad. They are like all things on the earth they can be good or bad depending on how they are used or abused.Just because someone can't handle drugs properly doesn't make drugs "evil".Our Christian morals that have been bashed into us from birth give us a warped view on what is "good" and "bad" depending on what the church says
