I want to do the DCP really bad! I live in MI and have been to WDW at least 13 times throught my life and I love it. The only thing I would feel uncomfortable with is rooming with complete strangers/sharing a room and feeling homesick. What would you advise me to do?... also I would really love to work in one of the parks and not in the kitchen of a hotel or something lol.

@SGarv04 I think you should still apply. I have for the Spring 11 and have gotten my acceptance letter. If you would like pointers I here to help. When you do thephone interview they will ask about your top 3 work location schoices. The girl asked me about food and I have worked in food all my life and I told her that I did not want to do food and she was like thats fine.. if you tell them you want a job and really dont and then get stuck with it... you will have a horrible time

@bellestarr88 hiii I'm Nicky, I miss the spring advantage 2011 but I'm going to apply for the Fall of 2011. I'm so nervous so my thoughts is going through my mind. I want to go to Disney really badly. It's that for some reason I feel like I'm going to get rejected the reason being is so many people has gotten rejected and that scares me a lot. hey nicky. Sorry this took so long. My email is erule@mail.usf.edu if you have any other questions. I suggest that you take the e presentation and do not wait for the school to give tours. i did the e presentation and got accepted the first day that they were giving campus presentations. DO NOT think that you wont get in. you are not sure what got the others rejected but you are confident that you can get in. for the phone interview, be relaxed and be yourself. i personally thought

you have to live in the apartments.. i do not think that you can live off campus

I was in chattam myself.. hoping once i finish desiel mechanic training I can go work there full time working on hopefully something in the parks, if not the bus system, ships, etc well be just fine :) anyone know where to go to apply for professional, full time/salaried Jobs vs full time hourly workers?

Hey brennailya! I got accepted for a Fall '09 professional internship at WDW and so I've been following your disney vlog lately. I found out that I'll be staying at the Patterson court apartment complex and wanted to ask if I should buy a car, or if there is a reliable bus system that takes you from Patterson to WDW?

btw, you have really nice and informative vlog/blog! really helpful :)

The bus system is pretty good - my only complaint was on nights I closed at the MK, but I never had a problem with anything else. Depending on where you are working will impact your decision to use the buses... some run more frequently because they have more interns working at specific locations, and some only run twice an hour.
