I was in the Army and I would say pissing on a corpse is just unprofessional. The military is meant to be a statue of morals, strength, confidence, honor, professionals, models of respect and support. Not hoodlums acting like animals. A soldier or marine kills a hostile. I think that even though we're fighting the Taliban, they're still people. Nobody should have their corpse desecrated like that no matter who they are. I believe that they SHOULD be put into prison. The Taliban are human beings just like Americans are, and deserve respect. They should absolutely be punished for what they did. Since they have physical evidence due to the camera footage, they should be arrested. We have military bases in many counties, march into countries and invade them for trumped up reasons yet it's ok. Why? Because no one can stop us. Why do the Arabs really hate us? "Our freedom"? lulz. Because we have bases in most of the middle east and they hate it. What if China put a base in California? Would that go down well? Probably not. So why's it 'ok' for America to do it?
If they're under so much mental pressure and stress, I'd think they have more shit to do and be concerned with than to record themselves pissing. Honestly, I don't get what's there to NOT punish here.
Oh the controversy, Always a personal opinion but I think this is a very fair comment, If these men live to think that they enjoy to murder innocent people all in the name of there God and leader I have absolutely no problem with people pissing on there dead corpses because there was no humanity or respect to begin with.

I think that even though we're fighting the Taliban, they're still people. Nobody should have their corpse desecrated like that no matter who they are. I do not think it was right, but at the same time I do not know if they should be punished, this might be a bad mentality, but I believe we should not play by the rules if they are not, granted I don't mean its okay to torture and desecrate them, but at the same time, the Taliban have done things a thousand times worse, their only punishment should be shame.

I believe that they SHOULD be put into prison. The Taliban are human beings just like Americans are, and deserve respect. You need to have the at most respect for your enemy on the battlefield, that's how the US military should be. They had no right to disrespect those men who died in battle for what they believed in. We're all human, and we all have different beliefs and opinions, and we all need to respect that. And it's touchy because people die, but that's how war is, and war doesn't change.

They should absolutely be punished for what they did. Since they have physical evidence due to the camera footage, they should be arrested. I don't know how long, but definately for a certain amount of time. I understand that those soldiers help protect America, but they should have done the common courtesy to let them rest in peace. I believe what they did was twisted, especially filming such an unhonorable act. I have a feeling too many have already gotten away with this action.

I could have cried at the sight of that. I don't care who they were or what they did. What those soldiers did was atrocious and disgusting, and they should be kicked out of the military altogether. If they had the audacity to not only urinate on dead bodies, but then record it, AND upload it for the world to see, knowing full well that they were breaking a law, then I can only imagine what else they'd do.
