Saturday May 14th, 2011 The Catholic University in Washington DC demands an account on Boehner's record concerning his position on helping poor people. Like all Republicans, Boehner has a lot to explain on the subject. GO TO CSPAN TO WATCH ALL THE ACTION. AND REACTION to the claims of Republican neglect toward the poor. You know, trickle down that comes in the color of yellow right on your head.
@guywalker29 Actually, under Obama's universal health-care, Obama, his family, and many other politicians are getting a much better health-care plan. If it's so good, I don't understand why Obama wouldn't take it for himself and his family as would other politicians.
@NoFaceNowThatsAce Somehow, I think you answer your own question here, but if someone was to ask me for you I'd say you've been out of the room during class for a while now.
yo uh,,,,, im really high right now. fuckin 4 hits out of a bong with ash and ice catchers. BAKED THE FUCK OUT. is this boner guy cool with me smokin weed or is he gonna narc me.
This sonofabitch is the spokesman for the Big Insurance companies. The same ones who take your money on premium payments, and than refuse to pay when you go into the Hospital. He's the sorriest, lowest of the low scum , along with his damned GOP Party.
@1944jhd lmao, this bill would require us to have health-care, and anyone who doesn't have it would be fined. When something is required, it typically goes up in value because people know that people will pay anything for it. Insurance companies would benefit from the bill because of the government fining people.
t is too easy to mock Lieberman & Boehner as a greedy little Ferengi & an Oompah-Loompah with a fake tan & painted-on mannequin hair (& too irrelevant!)—what needs to be emphasized is that they dont put Country over Party—nor do they even put Party over Self: they are both the worst kind of smirky-turkey rabble-rousing hypocrites that will use any tactic (& lie) to fleece the gullible public.

Will both of you please SHUT UP?! It's this spirit which is driving the United States of America apart. General Washington even said of "the spirit of party":
"It serves always to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration. It agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection."
Spirit my ass. GREED is killing this country. Pure and simple. Like this fuck Boehner...leather faced, lily old white man wanting to keep his big spenders happy.
Exactly, 8 years of Bush has sucked this country dry. Republicans are lower than dinosaur shit at the bottom of a New Jersey scum swamp!!! Furthermore, he has a bad tan. Who's his brother...George Hamilton? And I don't know about you, but Mitch McConnell is creepy.
The Democrat party doesn't seem to understand or care that the tremendous debt they are incurring with their reckless and asinine spending policies is putting our country and every Americans' future at risk. The even more pathetic thing is that we are benefiting little if at all from their outrageous spending spree! This insanity has got to STOP! Demand that Democrats listen to the American people and limit their spending policies. Vote this irresponsible and reckless party OUT in November!
With the apocalyptic nihilism of the far-right, you would think we live in a cave.
America will be fine, yes come November your party may or may not get it's chance to implement its status quo agenda, and we will once again be forced to put ALL progress on hold.
Of course there will be another war created by your party, and it will be worth it.
You'll stop ALL spending on citizens and give it back to corporations and the rich.
Too many people slept in history class to see the effects of handing over their freedom and rights to create a totalitarian government. Despite history, many people seem to think the government has money to save them from their problems. The only money they have is the money they borrow.
And Americans don't want rabid chimpanzees performing prostate exams, either. Which has as much to do with health care reform as a "governement takeover" does. Not on the table, not under discussion, not even a topic - except as a Republican talking point.
75% of DOCTORS support Obama's health care reform with a public option. Most of them got through med school by being able to grasp *facts.* Facts are what are in such short supply on the Repub side ...
Republicans lost the election big time and now want to say they want to make the system work better?
Fact: Republicans had their chance to reform health care!! Now they have to accept the democratic solution because of their unwillingness to actually consider any reforms when they had the chance.
It is kind of amazing some "people" think health costs are like buying a car or any other commercial proposition (eg: all the insurance co-sponsored posts on Youtube by varying "people"). You can plan to buy a car or a house: it's your own responsibility and your money allocation--but you can't plan a medical affliction. Not the same. I simply note one anti-health plan person on Ytube had her two fave videos as a) a revolver shooting into a tank, and b) a clip of Milton F'man on "Greed". True!!
although I may agree with you on voting against this bill and sticking it in the ear of the liberals. I do not agree with the disgusting racist remark on White Power. to term should be Freedom. freedom for everyone from a government seeking control of everything and attempting to take over our lives.

I do not wish to throw my pearls before a swine like you. you are not worth my time you can read your socialist books and say you can debate me but you and I know that communism does not work. so get a life get a job and keep your liberal lies and your communist crap to yourself.
Preach that. Government certainly hinders innovation. They would be obsolete if the world were allowed to become a perfect place. Better create a problem to the solution before the people wake up huh?lol
or instead of being so damn dependant on Big Government to wipe your ass, you can just learn how to take care of yourself. I guess Americans are too toopid to figure that out.
We should set up asset pools for insurance securities. Investors,on a global scale, will line up to receive these securities that have limited/no systematic risk and yet return above the risk free rate. This will occur until the the true value of risk w/ a small additional systematic asymmetrical risk premium is reached. I just cut down your insurance payments by 30%.
Yes, Civility is a must. There is always a trade-off in every field from applied probability, economics, quantum physics to the "everyday." The tradeoff must be minimized. The govt can act as a pooler of assets and in doing so will reduce the cost of insurance for the average population and provide a larger market for catastrophe insurance for individuals with pre-existing conditions. Allowing the free market forces to dominate the process and offering assistance to high risk individuals....
All of the polls ask the % of people who want reform and the % that do not on health care and then they just leave it at that.
I would like to know, out of the % of people who don't want reform, how many have health care ? And out of the % of people who do want reform, how many don't have health care?
Numbers are important.
It seems we may be pitting the people with health care against the people without.
Isn't that pitting the "Haves" against the "Have Not's"?
Yes but with the democratic plan there will be people who are "former haves." The bill would reallocate funds away from services for the elderly towards more wealth producing Americans (productivity given years of expected life). It will also create disincentives for expansionary plans for being health care "infrastructure" and create inflationary pressures. I believe that the free market idea couple w/ assistance would be far far better. Efficiently increasing patent duration is also better
Individuals are engaging in very risk behavior. The vast majority of Americans have a much higher risk for cardiovascular disease, diabetes type 2 and cancer and other lifestyle based diseases.
Marking anything to inflation (when there exist massive product/process innovation) is in error. Through innovation, the minimum wage today is worth more than the simple inflation indexed minimum wage of 1969.
If a controlled system could help individuals who are uninsured while not creating inferior health care/ limiting the upside of economic potential, I would wholeheartedly support it. I know that I may sound cold to you but life/reality isnt always appealing
When I was in the military we would get written up for saying "I can't or I won't".
It is not tolerated. Can we be the" best "nation on earth if we admit we cannot figure out how to do what the next 75 industrialized nations have already done. PLEASE visit "wikipedia--countries that have universal health care- articles" then tell me that we are just not as smart.
People use Canada as a bad example-- We CAN and SHOULD do better.
2.Every few years look to see which parts work and which ones don't.
3. Keep the parts that the people are happy with and are efficient, cost effective.
4. Reform the bad parts with something innovative and new.
Think about it. Computers started with M-DOS programs, which suck, but we kept trying to improve operating systems, keeping the part we like, being innovative and dumping the part that didn't work well.
"How about medicare, medicaid, social security, the U.S. Post Office" and the state of Massachusetts Universal Health Care they are all in the red. MrYoubrian that means not enough money to pay the bills! Looks like the public school system failed you. Oh wait, thats gov't run.
Then I guess Americans are just plain stupid......
Once again, 75 other nations have universal health care and they pay for it. And if I'm not mistaken 36 of those countries have education system too that they pay for.
At least the 36 countries that rank above us on the list of the worlds best educational systems as we ranked 37th in the world now.
We jus kannot figgur outt how too do it cuz we is toopid!
Boner states that he does not trust any gov't run program. Boner also states that gov't is too big and the gov't can't run programs as well as the private sector.
Well Boner, how about medicare, medicaid, the U.S. Post Office, the U.S.Coast Guard, FBI,CIA,HUD, Dept of Homeland Security, Bureau of Indian Affairs, The National park System, The Center for Disease Control, The Agricultural Dept., Th U.S. Military, the Food and Drug Administration,The Consumer Protection Agency, etc.????????????????
No, I am not saying it's perfect but if you talk to most seniors it is a blessing. That is why tens of millions of seniors support it through AARP. It's a solid start that has been productive for 44 years.
There is not a part of gov't that can't be improved.
But remember we have a unique definition of "gov't"-- for the people, by the people, of the people. WE are "gov't" in a democracy.
Hate socialist gov run health Prove it everyone who hates it doesn't think it works right now go to parents grandparents & disabled you know & take there socialist gov run medicare & social security & tell them from now on if they need medical care ask you & you will write them a check or if they need rent let you know &you will write them a check also if you know a soldier or a vet take there socialist gov run health card as well & do the same pay there bills i wonder how many will prove it
In case you are curious, his previous post in response to me pointing out that Boehner is just a right-wing tool was:
"I see that you are a liberal pussy! Don't worry FAGGOT! During the revolution, scum like you shall be a SMALL part of history!"
Like most of these bitter "macho" dolts on Youtube, he has a very anonymous profile and when you point out that threats against the government are taken very seriously these days, their balls shrivel up faster than a cat can lick its ass.
I see the "big balls" PilatusPorterPC6 removed his comments referring to his revolution. I have a feeling if he and his five beer-drinking buddies head out one weekend to start his revolution it will end horribly either in prison or with a self-inflicted gunshot to the head.
America is not #1. Its ranked about 30th in health care.
Government run health care is not inefficient. Insurance companies have 30% overhead. Medicare/Medicaid has just 3% overhead. Republicans: Please stop lying.
Government run health will not cost us dearly. The current situation is costing us dearly. Health Insurance companies line their pockets with 400 to 600 billion dollars every year--could be spent on health care.
American Entrapenuers have sold and financed auto sales for almost a century, running thier businesses efficiently, and making a profit. Along comes Government and takes over the car Manufacturers, fires dealers, and runs a "cash for clunkers" sales promotion.
5 Days later Government is broke, and the program is ended....5 SCREAMING DAYS is all government could manage to stay in business!
I seem to remember the auto industry flying into D.C. in their own corporate jets begging to be bent over and screwed up the ass by the government themselves. They even came back and tried it again when they didn't give them the money the first time, so get your shit together you right-wing-TYPICAL, PREDICTABLE, UNINFORMED, TUNNELVISION, RIGHT WING TURD!! The GOP is doomed because they tend to pull theri "facts" out of Disneyland. Fuck You!
The GOP? GTHOT! Obama is comitting infanticide around the world with my money. He is as inept as you are uninformed. The Detroit Bailout was billions to the Unions and had nothing to do with the "Cash for Clunkers" failure's.
You fell for a Chicago Con, and now you have a culture of corruption to make tea pot dome look civil. Take your head out of your plastic bobble head messiah's arse. I see your vocabulary is limited 2 4 letter words.
The change is just fine because the hogs are out of there. They are losing support, membership, elections - Just fine. You are obviously way uninformed and base your politics on Abortion and must be a millionaire-otherwise you're just a fool, voting to get screwed up the ass every four years by people that could give two fucks for your insignificant ass. Have a blast in the dustbin of history. The GOP is as useless, finished, and putrid as the shit-filled rotting corpse of John Wayne.
Like I said you deaf motherfucking hunk of human debris - The auto industry was not "taken over" by the government - They rolled over and greased down their rectums. They knew what they were getting into so screw them. 30 years of gas guzzling busses. Go fuck your cousin, turd.
You'd be right at home in a cage on a perch, chewing your cuddlefish bone and gawking at yourself in a mirror. Parroting back big, important sounding words like "Liberal" and using the tired "change" puns is predictably moronic. This is why Republicans will continue to get their miserable asses kicked to the curb again and again from now on. There are more people living in this country than just you, so get used to sharing America or go back to Apalachia and stay there until it too rots.
You must be a bird lover, some redemption, or just that elitist liberal desire to control living things? Seems the bird metaphors are all you've got after the 4 letter words, and the "I hate republicans" routine.
Obama is aborting millions of Black and other minority babies right round the world these days when he signed his Jan 23 '09 executive order federally funding abortions in 3rd world countries.
Seems to me like White Republicans show just chill while Comrade Obama "shocks the monkeys"!
Careful, man. I don't believe in ANY gun control myself, so don't assume I am a dyed-in-the-wool "liberal". I just think that if even forty guys get together and decide to conduct some type of "revolution" I think death and/or prison is all that will be accomplished. You can't just go on Youtube (well, you CAN) and publicly declare there's going to be an armed "revolution" - The FBI keeps a mighty short eye on these things when they come up. Sorry.
our congressman was Ron Lewis. did nothing for us here in Ky, did all he could for himself, I asked him for help one time on a gov student loan and he said hed help but no such luck instead he got me into a heap of debt instead. hey Ron f off ass hole! hey but he did stay in long enough to get his life long retirement and pay. good job jerk off.
Year after year, decade upon decade, the U.S. Senate's network of restaurants has lost staggering amounts of money -- more than $18 million since 1993, according to one report, & an estimated $2 million this year alone, according to another. Capitol Hill restaurants, cafeterias & coffee shops has become so dire that, w/o a $250,000 subsidy from taxpayers the Senate won't make payroll next month.
"Senate Votes To Privatize Its Failing Restaurants 9 June 2008"
Not Applicable. Ill be in Switzerland long before I'm even 30. Their mix of corporate/personal taxation is far more reasonable for me. I'm sorry but America is no longer an appealing place for my future business. I was born and raised here but things change.
I want to to go Switzerland because it is one of the more capitalistic country in Europe & there is a high concentration of investment management talent. Also, I don't want a country which has mass unionization or has required vacations. Constrained utility maximization is always less than unconstrained
EXACTy! THE MAJORITY of Americans DO NOT want government run anything., look at their track record, what entitlement program is successful that is run by the government ,,??? NOT ONE. They are ALL either bankrupt, fraud and abuse prone or all three and MOST all three.
Health care REFORM not this attorney written bill.
Of course these people running the committees that write these bills HAVE NEVER worked in the private sector so they DON'T HAVE A CLUE
Bull...word the question better....the Insurance Companies saying your not covered of a Government Plan where " All Treatment is Covered". Then give up those numbers you ....Putz
Exceptable, but Federally assisted by population to X amount per person on the plan.
It beats Fining Employers as proposed by Obama for not covering it's workers and takes a big punch away from Unions that demand better benefits for there workers above the rest of the Labor Pool....

28 billion on helicopters for the president that he does not want or need.
15 billion to help the farmers after the shuttle disaster that had no damage to their properties.
The money to insure everyone with a health care policy has been there all along.

This will occur until the the true value of risk w/ a small additional systematic asymmetrical risk premium is reached. I just cut down your insurance payments by 30%.

I'll be honest, your way over my head with that.
But it seems you are really intelligent. And just what we need. Less screaming at each other and more solutions! Thanks for your comment>

Vote no on the bill, and learn to be self-sufficient. What else would make sense?
FreelancePatriot76 2 years ago
Being self sufficient really works for those who can do it and really sucks for those who can't.
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
Yes, Civility is a must. There is always a trade-off in every field from applied probability, economics, quantum physics to the "everyday." The tradeoff must be minimized. The govt can act as a pooler of assets and in doing so will reduce the cost of insurance for the average population and provide a larger market for catastrophe insurance for individuals with pre-existing conditions. Allowing the free market forces to dominate the process and offering assistance to high risk individuals....
axe863 2 years ago
You are right.
My question-
All of the polls ask the % of people who want reform and the % that do not on health care and then they just leave it at that.
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
Yes but with the democratic plan there will be people who are "former haves." The bill would reallocate funds away from services for the elderly towards more wealth producing Americans (productivity given years of expected life). It will also create disincentives for expansionary plans for being health care "infrastructure" and create inflationary pressures. I believe that the free market idea couple w/ assistance would be far far better. Efficiently increasing patent duration is also better
axe863 2 years ago
...would cost far less than a massive bureaucratic system and would arrive at the same end result.
I believe that the govt should provide two things: protection and liquidity - allow the free markets to do the rest.
axe863 2 years ago
That is the problem -- the "free market " has shut out 52.8 million Americans and are adding 14,000 to the list every month!
Since 2001 health care premiums rose 71%.
At those rates, how much longer do you have before you join me in being without health care?
Not only has my wages not increased in the last 7 years they actually decreased.
If you account for inflation, the minimum wage in 1969 is equal to $10.25 an hour in todays money.
Sooner or later it will catch up to us.
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
Individuals are engaging in very risk behavior. The vast majority of Americans have a much higher risk for cardiovascular disease, diabetes type 2 and cancer and other lifestyle based diseases.
Marking anything to inflation (when there exist massive product/process innovation) is in error. Through innovation, the minimum wage today is worth more than the simple inflation indexed minimum wage of 1969.
axe863 2 years ago
I can only do simple math;
Gas is 400% more expensive now than in 1980.
My wages are up 300% since 1980.
Health care premiums are up 71% since 2001.
I am uninsured and 14,000 people join me every month.
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
Im sorry for you. Do you engage in risky behavior? Did you know that group plans are mostly more affordable?
axe863 2 years ago
If a controlled system could help individuals who are uninsured while not creating inferior health care/ limiting the upside of economic potential, I would wholeheartedly support it. I know that I may sound cold to you but life/reality isnt always appealing

Exactly.

Taiwan-- the perfect example of universal health care.....
Taiwan didn't have univ. hea. care but it was making a fortune in the tech business.
They commissioned a council to visit many different countries and see what they had and report back.
When they reported back to their people said they said they were impressed, but didn't like any countries overall program.
The solution? They took parts of what they liked from many different countries and made their own! Why don't we do the same?
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
I'm sad.
Sad that we Americans are now saying "we can't".
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
Easy-
1.Start a program to help the people.
Aren't you glad we at least tried?

"How about medicare, medicaid, social security, the U.S. Post Office" and the state of Massachusetts Universal Health Care they are all in the red. MrYoubrian that means not enough money to pay the bills! Looks like the public school system failed you. Oh wait, thats gov't run.
cjharrol 2 years ago
Then I guess Americans are just plain stupid......
Once again, 75 other nations have universal health care and they pay for it. And if I'm not mistaken 36 of those countries have education system too that they pay for.
At least the 36 countries that rank above us on the list of the worlds best educational systems as we ranked 37th in the world now.
We jus kannot figgur outt how too do it cuz we is toopid!

Are you suggesting that the government is doing a good job running Medicare and Medicaid?
rixjulia 2 years ago
Facts;
Before Medicare---30% of seniors lived in poverty
After Medicare-- 10% of seniors live in poverty
No, I am not saying it's perfect but if you talk to most seniors it is a blessing. That is why tens of millions of seniors support it through AARP. It's a solid start that has been productive for 44 years.
There is not a part of gov't that can't be improved.
But remember we have a unique definition of "gov't"-- for the people, by the people, of the people. WE are "gov't" in a democracy.
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
I love this guy!!!
He is the best thing for the democrats. He is looking more like an idiot everyday!
Next election the Democrats should play all these clips of everything Boner hates!
He sure has been telling us what's screwed up with this country but he never seems to have any plan to fix anything.
He has been going on and on and on and on for 4 mo.now about everything that he doesn't like.
When it comes to solutions he never introduced any bill and tried to garner bipartisan support.
MrYoubrian 2 years ago
Dear Leader Boehner,
You are doing a great job for us. Thanks for sticking up for the insurance industry.
Just remember this; The more health claims we deny, the more profits we have, and the more money we can send you to keep you in office!
It really is that simple.

Like most of these bitter "macho" dolts on Youtube, he has a very anonymous profile and when you point out that threats against the government are taken very seriously these days, their balls shrivel up faster than a cat can lick its ass.

Republicans need to stop LYING about health care.

AND YOU, want to run my Healthcare?
Make Life and Death decisions about me?

How's that change working out 4 U?
Obamacaca 2 years ago
The change is just fine because the hogs are out of there. They are losing support, membership, elections - Just fine. You are obviously way uninformed and base your politics on Abortion and must be a millionaire-otherwise you're just a fool, voting to get screwed up the ass every four years by people that could give two fucks for your insignificant ass. Have a blast in the dustbin of history. The GOP is as useless, finished, and putrid as the shit-filled rotting corpse of John Wayne.
kipptumor 2 years ago
Like I said you deaf motherfucking hunk of human debris - The auto industry was not "taken over" by the government - They rolled over and greased down their rectums. They knew what they were getting into so screw them. 30 years of gas guzzling busses. Go fuck your cousin, turd.
kipptumor 2 years ago
You'd be right at home in a cage on a perch, chewing your cuddlefish bone and gawking at yourself in a mirror. Parroting back big, important sounding words like "Liberal" and using the tired "change" puns is predictably moronic. This is why Republicans will continue to get their miserable asses kicked to the curb again and again from now on. There are more people living in this country than just you, so get used to sharing America or go back to Apalachia and stay there until it too rots.
kipptumor 2 years ago

Sorry.
