  • I think Peppy is a great name for your horse. ;-) Fits his/her personality. haha

  • The horse realizes: IT CAN NEVER WIN!!

    Pretty small corral, isn't it?

  • my yearling paint filly horns in when i'm tacking up the grown horses. she's not happy till i lay a pad on her and hang a too big headstall off her face. she wants to be a big girl. she probably never will buck someday when she gets her first saddle.

  • i hate it when people act like they know it all. anything could cause this pony/horse to buck like that. she was not being mistreated. did you see any whips or chains? because i didnt. she wasn't being forced to run and buck.

  • thats so weird my friend has a horse named pep and she looks like that

  • He should have hopped on! That would have been a really fun ride!!!

  • @blueoctopede would have made for more entertaining video. not that there was anything wrong with this one.

  • this is awful !

do you think that this is funny ?

just a saddle on a horse can not explain it really .. really so pathetic!

  • @stephanytjuh umm its called new tack... its called english to western... its called its a frucking pony ! there all different and ur pathetic for not knowing anything so whatch what ur saying to people

  • Does he throw off a shoe or something?

    (00:03)

  • hey give me a saddle that ill break that bronc..

  • omg thats so funny i love it!!!!

  • I know why she freaked out about the switch from the English saddle to the Western saddle. This is kind of a "duh" answer but, the Western saddle is a LOT heavier than the English.

  • You are right, a Western saddle, especially a big ol' roping saddle like that one, weighs a TON compared to an English saddle.

    Thanks for commenting. :)

  • @urc55 My guess is it was the back strap not the weight. If the pinto had carried a rider before weight wasn't the issue. Generally the flank strap. We usually leave them hanging for a few minutes then introduce it. I LOVE to watch a horse buck but I don't like them to learn how either... good clip...

  • @crazymaggie101 The Western Saddle also has a different feel than the English.

  • @crazymaggie101 yea a western saddle is 45-50 lbs where as an english 8-10 lbs

  • Yep, I have to agree with you - Every pony IS different! Thanks for watching & commenting. :)

  • your saddle would not have a thing to do with breaking her. putting a tight back cinch on any horse will make em buck out. I break all mine English but have friends who only ride western so I interchange my saddles all the time. I also never put a bit on any of mine while they are in training you can mess thier mouth up. get this cow boy wanna be off your horse before he messes her up and you cant do a thing with her.

  • That's my point, he DID cinch that back cinch down TIGHT! Thanks for watching & commenting. :D

  • either you beat the horses ass to get him to see you while his head is between your legs or you get out and let him feel it.

When I start one I saddle them and then go sit on the round pen to let them sort it out themselves at first..

  • Problem here, was that I started the horse in an english saddle... She was all fine and good with that, no problem at all.. The sudden switch over to the ol' roping saddle with the rear cinch came as a surprise to her. When I warned him that she'd never had a back cinch on her before, he decided to cinch it (the rear cinch) down tight, like quite a bit more than just snug. 0.o

  • Oh, well some of them are just broncy like that.. I wouldn't wanna ride her in an english saddle!! How does she go around now?? she ever throw anybody off?

  • Yeah, she threw that cowboy sky high. He didn't go back for seconds. She only bucked one time after that, and it was when she was cantered for the first time. We went out on trail & my husband rode her in a very slippery english saddle. I tried talking him out using the english saddle, but he's stubborn. She loped along fine til I yelled at him to canter PAST my horse THEN she decided to buck & it was funny cuz he stayed on for the buck but he flew off head first when she hit the brakes! Ha

  • haha i cant get a rear cinch on my horse to save my life and he was broke western, as a roping/ranch horse. he just hates it and i know a lot of them that do, even when they're on loose. every horse is different like @vintagehorses said. your horse is very pretty though, she reminds me of my paint gelding :)

  • That's funny, I too have a roping horse that hates the rear cinch. I think his flanks are very "ticklish" lol.

Thanks for watching & commenting. =)

  • Were are you going ? You need to be in there pushing that horse with a whip. Better yet get someone who knows and aint scared.

  • You know the horse was wondering that same thing! The guy DID have a whip in his hand! It's the first time I've ever seen anyone with a lunge whip turn tail and run from a horse! ROFLMAO!

  • hope he/she dosent do that when your riding....

  • She doesn't. lol =D

  • haha....that neat... i have a paint (tobiano) mare name Peppi too!

  • Really? Totally awesome!

  • physco

  • hahaha she was pissed

    thats funny :P
