Maybe they were influenced by horror punk,,,,, But Emo stands for "Emotive" and I really don't think the bands that are being labeled emo now even know what emo really is. I don't dissagree that real emo is punk inspired, but all the wuss goths I see just don't do the genre justice... Real goths aren't wusses BTW...
