What kind of water pump are you using? I'm trying to design a system similar to yours, and I see 2.5 and 6.5hp pumps for $200 or less at harbor freight.

your a fraken Genies man iv been doing my homework but dont know still if i could use a Lawn mower motor and use an attachment on the frount for water then hook up all your lines to make up a dredge home style
Thanks, You can use any engine you have. If you are not able to connect it directly to the engine, mount it separately and use a belt and pullies to transfer energy. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Mike
I love the Gold-N-Sand pump I got from gold-n-sand blogspot com It really makes it easy to cycle through the material many times before you transfer it back into the bucket. I bet this would work in a stream to directly below the sluice to re-run the closest material to the make sure any gold that thought it was going to get away has to run the gauntlet again. Mike
