i am Thai guy who want to travel and study in German. i really love your teaching video all of it.and thank you very much for do this teaching on YouTube .
Speaking of Switzerland "Die Schweiz" can someone answer a question.
When one is traveling to a location or another country you would say "nach"
Ich fahre nach....., wir fahren nach......, and just fill in whatever country you want to say but with Switzerland it is different. You say: Ich fahre in die (der?) Schweiz, wir fahren in die Schweiz. Why is that? Why is Switzerland said differently?
Fuer mich geht's ein bisschen zu langsam, vllt weil ich es schon verstehe ... Ich frag mich wie es waere wenn es ein ganzes Video auf Deutsch war mit Undertitel statt immer alles zu wiederholen?

Siebzehn is also an exception to the # + zehn = #teen rule. Just a thought.

@TheVille1980 Here you are the grammar rule:
Most names of cities and nations are neuter, they don't require the article and are preceded by NACH. Ex: Ich fahre oft nach Frankreich / Paris.
Some names of nations are instead masculine, feminine or plural, they always require the article and are preceded by IN+Acc. Ex:
M: Ich fahre in den Libanon / Irak
F: Ich fahre in die Schweiz / Turkei / Tschechei
PL: Ich fahre in die USA / Niederlande

Swiss german is so far from high german, we need subs on TV for - No joke!
But "wir fahren in der Schweiz" = "we travel inside Switzerland"
Wie fahren in die Schweiz = "we travel to Switzerland (from outside.
Some countries have a female gender, like Swiss, Mongolia, Turkey, Czechia, Slowakia
Some are male, like Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen
Some are neuter (or used without article) like Germany, France, GB, Australia
