Why not need to entertain the kids on the beach, you need to try Fistral Bach in Newquay when there is a big surf, it's awsome,......especially if you can keep it straight up....
if you can find big enough waves breaking close enough to shore, you can get it to dig the nose into the sand and perform that same maneuver end-over-end. ;)

Think it's a bit more than mild,it's certainly not heavy but there was some power there,lean into the wave and low brace - easy - sometimes!
