How accurate, or inaccurate, is the film with March and Tracey? I realise it's a script not an historical record, but I don't remember Tracey being identified as Darrow for example and I assume there's a lot of creative licence involved.
Do you wanna know why religious people have always violently and aggressively forced their beliefs on others who did not believe in what they believe in? it's because religious people are in pain and suffering because of their religious beliefs, and that makes the believers JEALOUS of the unbelievers cuz they don't suffer the way the believers suffer (mentally and physically). So the believers force the unbelievers to believe in their beliefs in order to see the unbelievers suffer like they do.
Probably would be better to read the trial transcript and some objective history on the trial (Viewing the movie "Inherit the Wind" won't do) before deciding whether, or not, you know anything about this issue as related to the events of that day. Popular treatment of the trial is more like urban legend than reality.
Man if it wasn't for this Scopes Monkey Trial nearly every single American would accept evolution. What's so fucked up is that still so many schools refuse to teach evolution.
@arzadi11 Is that actually proven? Cause that is a really interesting theory and it actually sounds like it could be quite accurate.
