"...Those people who do hypnosis videos sound creepy..." Guh! I know! and some of them keep breathing into the mic or hit the mic and make distracting sounds and stuff. But meh anywho...
i do reality checks look on my watch and my hand i listen to bineural beats and keep a dream journal but still i had only 7 lucid dreams in 6 mounths can someone tell me what i do wrong please?
Awsome video!! I'm also a beginner but I am very scared to start, one because of sleep paralysis and second cause I have heard that nightmares are 100 times worse with Lucid Dreams. Can you please share your opinion on both of these topics? And is remembering 2 dreams per night enough recall?
@MrLucidDreams 2 dreams per night is enough recall. And recall should get better as you go. I haven't had experiences with nightmares from lucid dreaming unless I become lucid and wake up with sleep paralysis. I try to become lucid during nightmares because then I have control.
@CrystalRainDrop789 Never thought of it that way. Ooh I have had only one lucid dream but didn't have much control. I was dreaming I was chasing an orange cat, and saw a crocodile so I told myself' "a croc in a neighborhood?" So I did the hand reality check, my hands were deformed much like falling water. After seeing my hands I started to wake up but a dream character told me to spin, I stayed in the dream. When I went to fly I could only jump? why is this?
hi ive lucid dreamed b4 but the first time i had an extremely horrifying nightmare im a bit scared to do it a second time do to the fact i kept seeing demons in the mirror and a extremely bony black figure with pointy toes long skinny sharp fingers a pointed head and it was kinda like a roundish diamond head but it was tall and it kept chasing me it had no eyes nose or ears should i try lucid dreaming again or will this happen a second time
@mydogbaron It could be that because you became aware you were asleep your mind woke up but your body was still asleep and in sleep paralysis. Often seeing demons or scary things come along with sleep paralysis. They are just continuation of the dream and are nothing to worry about.
i was wondering how this works, do you listen to the beats while falling asleep and do u fall asleep while listening to them, or are you supposed to listen to them before going to sleep?
@lolster121301 You can either listen while you are falling asleep and it's fine if you fall asleep while listening. Or you can finish listening and then it should be easier to fall asleep.
When listening to binaural beats, it relaxes me very much, and I'm able to clear my mind very easily. However, half way through the track, or towards the end I end up getting extremely paranoid and am forced to open my eyes to check if 'anything' is there. I'm guessing its something subconscious, do you have any idea what could be causing this?
@HelloCastles It could be that you catch yourself falling asleep. It can make you start and give you an unsettled feeling. Do you feel your body getting paralysis at all? Usually wake induced lucid dreams are really hard to learn to do but it could be that you're mind is still conscious during the paralysis part and that's causing the feeling of a presence.
@maxy125 I haven't kept track of how many, but lately I've been having less since I've been so busy and am not focused on it. They are really amazing.
I have been listening to chillout dreams (Which by the way are on iTunes radio. Look for DI- Chillout Dreams). They sometimes help me fall asleep, but then it sometimes doesn't. I also tried listening to binaural beats and yeah, they do sound very creepy. I also have insomnia, which is really driving me nuts.
I tried looking for some of the binaural tracks on iTunes, but all I saw was the one for Apps and not music or whatnot. But I could listen to them on youtube, but then it is a pain in the
@Tablo I'll have to check out the Chillout Dreams. Just the name sounds relaxing. I hate insomnia. I always have so much trouble falling asleep that by the morning I feel exhausted just from trying to so hard to fall asleep.
When you began lucid dreaming after 3 days of listening to the track, did you remain aware while falling asleep, or did you "wake up" within the dream?
I have a question about lucid dreaming. I read about all these techniques and tricks to get you to lucid dream like MILD and WILD or binaural beats etc... knowing these sort of things and techniques are to induce lucid dreaming, when I try use any technique this prevents me from sleeping at all, trying to relax myself in my bed only makes me not relax, knowing im slipping into a dream I always stop myself. My question is cant I just slip into a dream and know im dreaming without any sort of tech
@MarioBrosClassic Going into a lucid dream from a waking state is really difficult. Usually the hypnogogic imagery and sounds wake us up. Listening to binaural beats simply put you into a restful state and slow down brain activity. I listen to it before I fall asleep, and then take off the headphones and go to sleep after. The easiest way to lucid dream for me is to use reality checks and go back to sleep right after I've woken from a dream with the awareness that I will next be dreaming.
binaural beats dont lower brain activity, they actually activate different brain frequencies, and in the case of lucid dreaming it raises the alpha frequencies, so you can experience lucid dreams, so technically it raises your brain activity in a way.
@mr76dukestah Numerous sources and lucid dreaming tapes I have listened to all sate that it lowers brain activity, after all, that is what happens when you enter the first few stages of sleep.
@CrystalRainDrop789 it lowers your theta waves, which puts you to sleep but it raises alpha waves which keep you very aware in your dreams, so i guess technically we're both right.
i have lucid dreams every night.... so vivid and colorful and powerful i find myself not wanting to wake up.... its like my dreams are better than my reality..... Is that unusual for lucid dreams or normal?
@Megamayhem1001 That's very normal. It's why so many people want to lucid dream. You can do whatever you want in dreams, things that aren't possible in waking life.
@ImAToker420 Usually when you're in a dream where you do things you normally wouldn't do in real life it's a stage of lucidity. That means you're in the start of becoming lucid.
Thank you. Seems really interesting. Can you send me a link to it? Or the name i should look up? Thank you so much! You can always PM me, no prob! thx
Hmm... I suppose I'll consider it. Lucid dreaming is more of a secondary objective for me at the moment. But yeah, hypnotists' voices don't usually bother me too much.
Thanks for the insight. :) I've been experimenting with lucid dreaming as well (I've gotten as far as Level 3 so far), so something like that may help. How much did the album cost?
The whole album is $9.99 but the instrumental only songs can be bought individually. I find that I don't listen to those as much though. Just make sure the guy's voice doesn't bug you.
