  • MrEllenwork I have no idea what you are talking about. These little girls are dressed just like the Bible says they should. It would serve as an example for the rest of the world of what modesty and the beauty of holiness looks like.

  • bravo! simple beautiful! this gives me calm! :)

  • Very Beautiful!! Does anyone know who the young lady is at 1:30? She looks familiar but I can't figure it out.

  • Adoreii Lindoo de+

  • Beautiful.......

  • love their voice - what a blessing! they're awesome!

  • wow...chillbumps and watery eyes

  • The Peasall Sisters did not sing Keep on the Sunny Side in the movie. It was done by The Whites ... a Grand Ole Opry group. They Peasalls sang In The Highways. Gotta keep things straight here ...

  • Beautiful Talent, just wonderful!!! <3<3<3

  • Very beautiful.

    God bless them.

  • What precious pearls lent to us for a time by a God who blessed them so richly with this gift of music. The third song sooths the soul in a way that not many songs can. They are unbelievably talented and gifted.

  • @Stace1632

    What is Your deal?

They are kids and do a phenomenal job.

I dont know them, but when I see mean and strange posts like this

    It really is disturbing.

may be YOU are the devil.

Sounds like You are jealous over some kids.

    Wow.

  • Why so many negative comments? Grow up, already! Some people can find fault with anyone . . .

  • @jllpmusicman

    No kidding!

Who says this weird mean crap to children?

They did a fantastic job. End of.

    Agreed~

  • Creepy crowd

  • INCREDIBLE!!!

  • Waht a beautiful video describing three unique flowers and their healthy growth!

  • you cant beat family voices! what a blend- they will only get better with time!

  • Yea, the kids are fab, no doubt I have kids myself, check SIngle working mother I asking why so conditioned. I hope pleae God you are lettin fab girls be children, be innocent children - not interfered with - not abused - not harmed in any way. I live in Ireland and I heard from friend 4 out of every 5 children in USA are abused - I am praying that the lord does not allow this - my friend was a ghost writer and wrote One day at a time, help me make it through the night.

  • @itamadden the LORD is Capitol L..:)

  • they are goddesses

  • the audience looked really freakin creepy.. why were they all smiling?? shit i think there must have been free weed at that church

  • @Tips247 poor soul.....

  • i heard the chipmunks version just like this one

  • Beautiful voices!!!

  • And all the parents living vicariously through them! HA HA!

  • Pretty song !!! and wonderfully done girls...!

  • Beautiful

  • you all have a great voice use it for god and he will add to what you have

  • Beautiful!!!!

  • I like the last song the most because all their voices have matured some. You could tell in the first song that the oldest sister was really working by dulling down her range to sound good with the other two. All their voices have matured so much more in the last. This was in 2008, I would love to hear them all together now.

  • These sisters are dressed very nicely and decently. I do wish more girls and women would dress in more clothing today and not show nearly everything. As someone mentioned earlier people did dress modestly in decades gone by.

  • They are not dressed freaky.. they are dressed like they used to many many years ago..for church. It was done for the video.. Church in the wildwood I love how people used to dress with respect for themselves.

  • Its not about religion, its your personal relationship with God, through your faith in Jesus christ our Lord, remember your duty is to help ur lost brothers and sisters out there in the sinful world, those who are on drugs, alcohol, gangs, and so on,remember what jesus did,he went to the sinful people heal their sickness and clean them from their sin or unrighteousness,a believer in the christian world, must first believe that jesus christ is the son of God,and except jesus in ur life, walk like jesus.

  • @huggybangthatass

These girls are singing certain songs because of their parents. Fuck your stupid squirley religio!. Good music is good music to me. (RESPECT TO YOU!)

  • Love these talented girls!

  • When you are not sure if you can do it think of all the peas in the world, it will encourage you

  • Beautiful harmony. God bless

  • @techgeek97 ok, i think you need you need to not cuss on a christian song, because jesus can hear you, and you may not believe it, but you WILL go to hell. and im not cussing at you, hell is a place that is REAL and i feel bad 4 u, because the lord isnt in your heart. i will pray for you. :(

  • @nettyandsammie i didn't write that. i'm catholic so i believe in god and go to church. sorry bout that comment lol

  • @techgeek97 ok, i think you need you to not cuss on a christian song, because jesus can hear you, and you may not believe it, but you WILL go to hell. and im not cussing at you, hell is a place that is REAL and i feel bad 4 u, because the lord isnt in your heart. i will pray for you. :(

  • Out of this world!!! Was that Roseanne in the front row lol!!!

  • ok so is this type of music originally from West Virginia or Ireland?

  • These Girls are sooo Talented, amazing Harmonie's.

  • Salvation FIRST - and thanks for these beautiful songs!!!

  • This is great, but who else would like to hear a remix of this, with like, overpowering krunk-style computerized percussion, and Lil John screaming "What....Okay", louder than the girls, every two to four seconds? Maybe a rap by Soulja Boy in the middle?

  • 6 people stand alone

  • i discovered them for myself after seeing the trailer of true grit! love the singing , raw talent.

  • @weirdramakiddd me 2

  • @weirdramakiddd, Sorry, I was going for the reply button and accidentally hit the vote down, did not mean to. Will vote you up tomorrow.

BTW, I discovered the Peasall Sisters in the movie, O Brother Where Art Thou, more than 10 years ago, and have been following them ever since. They are on the verge of retiring. Very sad.

  • Does anybody know about when this (Farther Along) took place, 1998-2000 would be my guess?

  • @PianotekA440714 Well, Hovie Lister is still alive in that clip, so it has to be pre-2001, so I think your guess is pretty good.

  • In The Highway...best song of the movie...very well done...

  • I grew up in church and I've visited many but I've never been to one where the folks dressed so....old fashioned? Do you know how old this is or if they were doing it for a special event? what denomination are they?

  • Gracias es una hermosura, FELIZ NAVIDAD.

  • I loved reading The Last Temptation Of Christ, and I loved this video.

    Information is not knowledge

    Knowledge is not wisdom

    Wisdom is not truth

    Truth is not beauty

    Beauty is not love

    Love is not music

    Music is THE BEST...

  • Despite everyone being dressed so got-dang freaky, these girls' voices gave me chills , beautiful harmonies.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrEllenwork They were dressed up like that because this was for the "Church in the Wildwood" homecoming special. The whole thing had an old fashioned theme. This is one of my favorite performances by them too.

  • @MrEllenwork that's not freaky...that's how people were dressed during the 90s...people were conservative back then..

  • @MrEllenwork What was so freaky about those modest and beautful clothes?..:)

  • @22astoria don't pretend it's normal.... you don't need to dress in satin and lace and co ver all the way up to your neck to not be trashy. It's over-the-top, compounded by being out of fashion. That's all.

  • @elenac1010 no pretending here(What is normal?)..and sure its conservative, but not over the top.the girls are beautifully dressed and dressed the way girls are supposed to dress..but of course.that my oppinion and i truly respect yours.....:)

  • WoW! The one with the glasses really blossomed at the end! Such pretty angels ^_^

  • Really beautiful! Thank you. I think this is from one of the Gaither gatherings at the Cove in N.C. I really need to buy that DVD. God bless.

  • You know them gals, Everett?

  • Ahh..this is a great....harmony from siblings can only be matched by paternal twins..and the genre of music to sing from is perfect..

  • 1:29 that the kind of smile people have who are brainwashed by a cult.

  • @mwells219 check out the one at 2:06, thats a classic.

  • wow you girls are great keep beliven in GOD(:

  • Their so good! I wish they would appear on the Gaithers again! I would love to see how they've grown!

  • absoulutly amazinggggggggggggg

  • These girls are great, just don't see them enough!

  • the peasall three little sisters brought these stream of tears flowing down from my eyes , i could not stop crying as they sing. oh how amazing to see them at that young age hunger , loving and thirst for God, only father alone understand why humans act they do,but we will understand it by and by, when we all me the Lord face to face. these three girls are such an inspiration

  • had me in tears god bless the peasall sisters

  • Brought tears to my eyes knowing that one day we will understand all the things we experience on our way to the Promised Land. They certainly have grown up to be the vehicle for sharing the gospel for the Lord

  • Precious and a great Mom to encourage them to sing!!

  • These three girls have True Grit...

  • Awesome!

  • very nice! but they did "scara magarului" on the stage.

  • @canitouela helt enig med deg.....hilsen oregon

  • Hi BENJAMIN TOKO

You guys are like angels and are you blessed in Jesus Christ Name

    Amen

  • First song - amazing performance, creepy audience

Second song - adorable and fun

Third song - elegant and sophisticated

  • Harmony amazing....beautiful ! ! !

  • beautiful songs...they are angels..!!

  • Wow!! They are Powefull !! I'm not one you'd find serching for gospel singers, but these sisters really open your heart and mind. For those who have never heard them, sit back as your about to get a real treat. Close your eyes and listen. I love this utube video they put together, and will be purchasing their family dvd. Great sounds to cure the ragid soul.

  • That was amazing! I wish I could sing like that! And their so young! Thats an incredible, natural, and beautiful talent! Wondurful!

  • i'm just curious, why is everybody dressed in such an old fashioned way? was it required to go to this concert?

  • @teaandcakeordeath They were doing a movie Oh brother where art thou!

  • made me cry and think of memories.....it was sweet though

  • If they didn't learn to sing from thier mamma, I'll kiss your foot!

  • I hate to be the grinch but the reason they sound like "angels" (in the first song) is that it has been autotuned, like all pop music these days. I know no one is going to believe me, but listen carefully to the solo where it is most apparent (with headphones ideally). Then listen to the second song and note the difference - they suddenly don't have perfect pitch anymore.

Some cynical gospel promoter decided that those sweet little girls weren't angelic enough and digitally altered their voices.

  • Gifts from God.

  • How precious, (too precious are) the little children of our Lord & Savior ... :)

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video ~ it makes my heart smile & my spirit soar to hear such pure love as that of His little children as they sing His praise .... God bless you!

*A special & heartfelt thanks to Bibledoctrine, beloved brother John, for sharing*

  • I wish I could hold a note that steady.

    and talents like that.

  • Amazing harmonies! You all are a blessing to so many. May God bless you and keep you always.

  • So beautiful, thanks for the beautiful voices....you're like angels!

    Bernadette

  • Met these young ladies in Dollywood. they are a delight to listen to and now play and sing as a family along with their dad.

  • @ljkwoody thanx

  • Can I buy a CD of your work?

  • Voices of angels... Thank you for sharing...

  • Beautiful, I got on my computer and u-tube and found you girls. keep praising god. he has gifted you all with a beautiful voices.

  • These girls have great talent. I love the way they look like little sweet girls. They are an example of how I feel little girls should dress. As they got older they look like little ladies. I stress the dress code because so many little girls are robbed and killed by these pedifiles. I'm so thankful that my Mama and Daddy cared enough about me that I dressed with modesty, even today. God is using these girls for His glory........................Gwen Weaver

  • So Sweet. This is Precious ! such talent.

  • Awesome!!!! This is the first video of these young ladies I've seen. Such beautiful harmony! They remind me so much of the late Carter Sisters , Helen June and Anita when they were in their youth. Yet these young ladies have their own distinct style.

  • love these girl

  • omg you guys are so great stay n jesus dont lett him go ok

  • amazing the beautiful harmony from such young ladies. and they did nothing but get better the older they got.

  • WOW! THATS AL I CAN SAY AWESOME VOCALS

  • The first time I heard In the Highways was in the movie with these wonderful girls. Then My father told me he used to sing that song in Spanish in the Baptist church where he converted some 30 years ago...

I'm glad I heard this from them the first time, they have a beautiful voice!

  • Nothing like three-part close harmony! Excellent.

  • Hey thanks for sharing it =)

  • The announcer said they sang "Keep On The Sunny Side" in the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?', yet they didn't. They sang "In The Highways'.They are so blessed with beauty, grace, and talent.

  • aha, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!

  • You go girls!!

  • that person who comment this video name GAN3153 GOD BLESS YOU STOP TALKING LIKE THAT!.

  • Better yet,if you don't believe there is a God,you better pray there isn't a satan and hell

  • Comment removed

  • God given voices, continue to praise him and witness thru your talents.

  • Above you removed your comment. How can anyone say "ANYTHING' bad about these angels straight from Heaven.

  • Beautiful, awesome, amazing.

    thank you, thank you,thank you

    for posting

  • beautiful armony !!

  • killer singing

Syrinx lol @ your username, do you like birds?

  • You've obviously never studied mythology.

And I find it a bit ironic to have someone with "orgasm" in their username laughing at mine. ;)

  • that was so beautiful.

  • Perfect!!!!

  • I'm totally unreligious (almost on the verge of anti), yet this was a stunning performance in my opinion.

  • How can anyone look around themselves and see what God has created and say they are totally nonreligious. I know you said unreligious but that according my spell checker is not a word. If you don't believe there is a God then you better pray that there is no God because where God is going to send you is so despicable that words can not properly describe it.

  • I don't want to be accusatory or anything, but I thought Christianity was about acceptance?

If so, I don't understand why so many Christians are so rigid. I may not be religious, but at least I am (or try to be) outwardly respectful of others' opinions and beliefs. We live in the 21st century, after all. We should be allowed to think what we want.

Ah well, to each his own I guess.

And whoops, sorry for my use of a nonexistent word, but you get my drift.

  • @Kavirako

Actually Christianity is NOT about acceptance but more about LOVE for God and man. That means that we are supposed to love everyone even if what they believe is wrong. And God does allow you to think what you want, but there is only one path to Heaven and the choice is yours alone. It's black and white, there is no halfway. Therefore if we are not rigid in our message to u then we have failed u and God. Also Satan has many false prophets in the world confusing the issue.

  • Thanks brother, I couldn't have said it better (formerly known as conductorron)

  • @GND3153 Please don't spout unsubstantiated claims about the Universe. By all means believe you are going to a sky kingdom for being born into Christianity but don't imply others (not holier than thou) will burn for eternity for not buying into these unjustified claims. If you sincerely believe it, keep your delusions to yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • @jazz4 If we sincerely believe it we cannot keep it to ourselves for we are commissioned by Jesus Himself to spread the word. No one is BORN into Christianity. It is a choice that everyone has to make. It doesn't matter who our parents, relatives or friends are, the choice is ours alone. Ask yourself this question. Is it better for me to be prepared for Heaven and find out I was wrong or is it better for you to not be prepared for hell and find out the hard way that you were wrong?

  • @GND3153 Your comment on not being born into Christianity is completely false, like every other religion in the world, being born into it as a social and culture tradition is obvious. Just like the Greeks who were brought up to believe in Zeus. I think you're referring to Pascal's wager. "just SAY you believe and you never know" dont degrade argument and dignity, people dont believe because there is no evidence, I guess god wouldnt reward moral courage but he would reward covering your ass.

  • @jazz4 You're also suggesting that the only consequences lead from your religion. What if you don't believe in the Hindu God and you're wrong about that? or Allah? Of course people are born into religion, its so obvious. The writings of what jesus might have said do not stand for how you should behave in the 21st century. Jesus also said you should slain those before him who do not believe, he also condones slavery in the bible, but you dont do that anymore.

  • @jazz4 There is a difference in a Christian culture and a TRUE Christian. I could profess to be a believer with my mouth all day long but if I do not believe within my soul and turn my life over to Him I will go to Hell just as a non believer would. There are a lot of people who call themselves Christians who wont make it to heaven. So no God doesnt reward "covering your ass". He rewards a TRUE believer.

  • @GND3153 You say that with such certainty. A Mulsim, a Hindu and a Buddhist would all disagree and they're extremely certain too. If you truly believe you will survive death like no one else can, it'd be great to hear how you will manage it, without wishful thinking and stone age stories.

  • @jazz4 Sad that you feel you are so justified calling someones beliiefs delusions.

  • @cherokeemaid12 Religious beliefs become delusional when they claim knowledge no one has, when they alter genitalia or tell children they'll go to hell for calling god by the wrong name.

  • @GND3153 I don't understand what you talking about?

  • I wonder if some of you realize just how judgmental you sound? "Jim and Tammy Fayes"? "very creepy audience.."? to those who made those comments...what is your basis for making such statements?

  • Two words: JESUS CAMP

  • This is my favorite song.. We will understand it all oneday.. ..

.. Thank you all. You made this song so beautiful..

    Edith

  • Sorry, that video was from "Church in the Wildwood" instead of "Old Country Church". I got my video's confused.

  • Farther Alone was from a video entitlec "Old Country Church". That is why the audience is dressed that way.

  • I agree about the audience....too much camera mugging while trying to look "natural". Let's hope the sisters grow up to be untouched by this artificail world of show business.

  • I agree with the others here. I just want to see the girls, and don't want to see all those Jim and Tammy Fayes out in the audience.

  • the first song....beautiful performance!

    but creepy audience.

  • very creepy audience...I wouldn't leave my daughter alone will any of em.

  • Just totally AWESOME!! I wonder if they realize just how many lives they touch.

  • Just Amazing!

  • Lovely song!

  • Dumnezeu sa va binecuvinteze

  • Look The Angels are Smiling.

  • awesome!

  • can there be anything sweeter than this???? How cute!!!!!

  • does amber thompson appear in the congregation?
