The original french title is 'presque rien' which means 'almost nothing' - it's a great film. No fluffy bunny love story or anything like that. It's a tough story of a tough subject and faces up to the truth that opening your closet door will not lead you into a poppy field of love and happiness - but instead whether gay or straight, love is tough and can mess us all up.

We only see the bits about how Cedric and Mathieu get togother and what happens after Mathieu tries to commit suicide and leaves the relationship. All the way throughout the film, there are clues why Matheiu and Cedric are not compatible and why their relationship didn't work out. But we don't actually get to their relationship on -screen and my guess is at the end they part ways.
