@TheAusieBloke Are you making your objects your going to be linking together Symbols? I didn't do this initially and it would only select a fill of my object. Listen to what he says, he calls each object a symbol :] Makes them independent unlike Grouping or a Union.

Thats down to animator's drawing technique, its not a technical issue. You draw them in a way that prevents breakage, here, he is just showing you a simple example.

yeah buts whats with that piece of arm that reappeared after you deleted it. That wasnt something you left there at all. That is an example of how the bone tool is crappy and buggy and not easy to use at all but a pain in the ass. Also when you moved the arm i noticed that the stroke of here arm was not connecting. I have had all these same problems with the bone tool. Adobe would have everyone believe that you too can make animations easily at home like the professionals but its just not true.

They still don't understand that making a piece of software cost $500 will get you a thousand times less profit than making it cost $50, and will result in most people just downloading pirated versions. Now for example art rage is very advanced drawing software incomparably better than corel, art rage costs only £30 while corel is starting at £150. And I bought artrage because of it's realistic price.

@ernis1100 no other software package stands up to creative suite so as there is no competition there is no need for competitive pricing... also considering how many features are included I will argue the price is justified. You may argue that artrage is comparable however in terms of complex features etc I can assure you it is not; if you continue to further improve your flash/ creative suite knowledge and usability you will soon agree.

If this woman wasn't divided into several single body parts, but was one image...would it also be possible to put a bone sceleton on it and move it like warping to picture?

(like squeezing and streching the picture a little bit at the elbow, knees and so on)

(If yes, i think this would also be great to avoid the gaps between the outlines where the body parts are connected)

you can use the bone tool with the raw vector image (as opposed to symbols/buttons/graphics)

try expirimenting with stickmen before something more complex- it works in the same way
