this song is the best song in the entire world for me :) it helped me get through a lot of stuff, i played it on my violin during my great grandmothers wake, i played it for my dad who is leaving today , and ill probably see him years from now. I also played it for my mom- who i love so very much :)
Cloud never really "got over" the deaths of Zack and Aeris. He was so distracted by other things that he had to put them behind him at the time. You never get to a place in the game where Cloud actually comes to grips with what losing Aeris and Zack had done to him psychologically. He was still trying to remember who he really was, while trying to save the world. Once there was no more enemies, the past finally resurfaced. AC is about Cloud finally getting true closure.
Cloud will always be my favorite character in the ff games and movies, he just gets to you, the way he looks at people even when he's not smileing is just something that lightens the mood for me, stay strong cloud

by the ending of advent children. it is very clear that cloud has surpassed zack. he did things zack couldnt. and all the sacrifices cloud made finally leads to a tiny fragment of a smile. that he can finally live normally, just like before. and that smile shows that he finally FULLY retrieves himself.

He don't seem like the character people are telling he is.
In the beggining of FF7 he was pretty much yeah whatever, money you know.
Seems to have a carefree cool atitude, and later becomes a leader with some memories haunting him, confusion, but still was normal average person.

Reading the top comments with this piece playing...a powerful feeling, for a moment I'm reading from the screen but I'm re-watching the end of Advent Children at the same time,a character that portrays more humanity than most is always someone I look up to. When I can see a lot of character in someone and see their personality just from a picture, or artwork, I would remember them even If I didn't see them again.

Pores are easily fixed with detail or normal maps if even used, just create a stamp and paint it in HP. anyho, how I react if my two best friends would die? what has that to do with anything? Cloud reacted the way he reacted in FF7. being a emo-bitch looking like a girl is something made up later to please the crowd...except for me.

zack and aeris finally leave the world in the care of cloud strife. the greatest hero who started out as nobody.
by the ending of advent children. it is very clear that cloud has surpassed zack. he did things zack couldnt. and all the sacrifices cloud made finally leads to a tiny fragment of a smile. that he can finally live normally, just like before. and that smile shows that he finally FULLY retrieves himself.

@minigunman1234 It's difficult to explain, but "the lacking" just looks wrong. Nobody says it that way. It's "the lack of". It's kind of like the difference between "good" and "well". Good is typically used as an adjective, and well as an adverb, but there are exceptions. You kind of just have to know when to use it.

Cloud is by far one of the best written game characters ever. He was never a hero. He was ordinary, below average, even at times a failure. He had low self esteem and tons of psychological issues. He carried many burdens, including the burdens of those who had gone before him. What made people love Cloud was not his awesome sword, or spiky hair (all that was cool). It was his heart. We respect Cloud because he feels more human than most of the wooden hero stereotypes in this age. For Cloud...
