Oh wow, amazing... I saw this when I was a very young child, and I remember that it frightened me very much, to the point of giving me nightmares. But I also remember that it fascinated me in a strange way. It's funny, because I can only remember these feelings it gave me, but not much about what it was about. I really need to rewatch it. <3
I wish I could understand even a fraction of Russian. Oh, and by the way, is it just me, or does the ballerina closely resemble Candace from Phineas and Ferb?
@CuteIsWhatIAimFor143 the ballerina is nothing compared to candace. . .the ballerina is as beautiful as a genuine pearl. . .or even marble. beautiful <3
hi, i watch this cartoon series of Hans christian Anderson long ago in tv..which made me cry each time i watched them..its not Disney or comicolor i cant remember..its start with all the characters coming down from a rainbow..i checked most of the videos regarding "TIN SOLDIER" but i couldn't find that version of it can anyone remember it??? pls help
Ohhh!! This was my favorite children's story when I was a child. Though I saw it dubbed in swedish, I wish I could hear once more in swedish. beautiful animation <3 P
Гениальный Андерсен, прекрасные художники-мультипликаторы, музыка Я. Френкеля - великолепное сочетание! Сейчас такие мультфильмы стали большой редкостью.
ehh, i don't mind listening to russian :3 it's a very calm-sounding language, just like japanese,so i enjoy it :) besides, i already know the whole story with this (it was my personal fav when i was younger) so me fine X3
the animation is so pretty, too (even the baletrina XD she's too eligant to be creepy :3)
what a masterpiece of the Russian school of animation...makes my heart melt...i just llllllove it, love it all - the music, the video, the message most of all. let's not forget what treasures of art we have and be proud of them. thank you, thank you thank you for posting this video!!

Troyanova animators Alexei Bukin, T. Awesome cartoon, I've never seen it before. I really love the bittersweet athmosphere here, and I really love this version more than the one in Disney's Fantasia 2000!
Well, its not like children enjoyed the original endings in other countries. My family went to The Netherlands and Holland and other surrounding countries ten years ago, and we asked the kids if they liked those Hans Christian Anderson Stories, and they hated them because they were sad haha.t
would anyone be so kind as to give me a link or something, just anything so that I can read the translation to this please? I love this, but I really wish I could understand what they were saying... ;__;

and the "dark man" during his presentation tald" : "only in ampty places bad things arrise!" ( about himself and the ampty tabaco box);
lenok25 3 years ago
To be exact, he said: "Why is the destiny only hard on those who are true to it?"
