  • @09areFish How much did it cost?? with all the ardware and cymbals, cuz i'm looking for buying a new drum but i dont know witch to choose

  • I was tribal dancing in the end.

  • how much is the whole thing in total?

  • thats dissapointing that they gave you a muffling ring with the snare. basically yamaha saying, this drum is going to overtone in a week, heres something to ease your pain.

  • @CocaineRubish On day one I swapped the snare heads for a coated G1 over Hazy 300. Snare sounds pretty good. I don't use that control ring much, but it does do a good job of drying out the drum if that is what's desired.

  • wow, you really know what you're doing as far as opening boxes goes

  • @DailyBeat97 Thank you for the feedback. I'm going to be opening boxes on a DW Performance series kit in the next week or two. Hopefully I won't have any trouble with the box flaps on those.

  • @09areFish nice dude, dw is awesome, i'm looking forward to seeing it

  • Sorry if this sounds stupid, but could someone tell me how to order a custom yamaha kit?

  • @TheProphetOfWrath You need to go through an authorized Yamaha retailer.

  • @09areFish Thank you. : )

  • is this drum set from amazon??

  • @kingbontjie4 I didn't buy this kit from Amazon, however they are listed there.

  • colour?

    RavenBlack?

  • @TheCrackedBand Dark Silver Metallic Lacquer.

  • How much does the kit cost??

  • is there anyway i can buy the revs drum kit please respond

  • Yamaha + Paiste = my love :)

    Thanks for vid!

  • how much was this

  • where I can order such drum set with its cymbals hardware and chair all in it ???

  • would u recomend eletronic drum kit or regular

  • music?:)

  • @GeminiMind529 thanks very much , i might just have to go digital since i can control volume much like my yamaha mox8 synthesizer.

  • Oh wow i really didn't think about the sound off mutes , huh i'll have to look into them.

  • this is better than the tour custom set?

  • @hendrickvps No this is below the Tour Custom, which is a maple kit.

  • i have a yamaha stage custom but the coating is like wooden black design on it. does anyone know what year itsfrom or how old it is?

  • I wonder if I can play this set in my apartment without being evicted or someone complaining of the drums. Can anyone help me with this if someone lives in an apartment and plays drums?

  • @Pianocarneseur12 Maybe those Sound Off drum and cymbal mutes would work for you.

  • @Pianocarneseur12 The best thing to do in this case would be to buy an electric set; yeah, there will still be vibrations and sounds (if you play through an amplifier) but you've got a lower chance of being evicted if you use an electronic kit. I hope this helps :)

  • @Pianocarneseur12 electric drumsets have a volume control and headphone outlet, the only thing they will hear is the sticks hitting the pad

  • @MosesTV1 oh ok that's definately something to keep in mind , haha lately i've had to use my Yamaha Mox8 synthesizer for everything.

  • @Pianocarneseur12 no you cant the cops came to my place

  • wat are the sizes of the drums?

  • @xdrummerx22 20 x 17 Kick, 10 x 8, 12 x 9, 14 x 14 Toms, 14 x 5.5 Snare.

  • How are the Paiste PST5's, you like them?

  • @SergiuM42 They are a great entry level cymbal. I have since replaced them with Paiste 2oo2 cymbals.

  • Got some fine drums over there. Congrats!

  • a beautiful kit and snare in particular

  • Is that box the tardis or something?

  • do the toms ring??

  • @movieman1222 They do sing. They get played unmic'd at church and are tuned for a live setting in a large room. Thanks for watching.

  • idk y but when ever i unboxing something i feel like whats the word like breathless

  • where did you get it

  • can i have all the boxes, i could make a kick-ass fort with them

  • That was a strange video, kind of like watching a lab rat, but I had to watch the whole thing. Nice job tuning the toms.

  • the music sounds like stuff from the Sims 2. :D

Anyway, AWESOME video haha. I'm gonna be getting a stage custom as well.

  • how much $ did that cost?

  • You must've been the HAPPIEST guy in the world!! :D

  • was it hard to put every thing together?

also can you tell hat stand goes with what symbol or do you have to read the instructions?

  • What are the first two songs?

  • best drums unboxin seen..........nice one :) keep it up

  • how much was all this total?

  • @09areFish Excellent! thanks a lot man!

  • Hey man I just read your review for this kit on drumchat.com. I have the same one! I was looking at the picture you posted of the kit and noticed that you took the rack tom mounts off the bass drum. I was wondering how easy is it to take the mounts off the Bass drum and where did you get the badge to cover the hole?

  • @feener52 It wasn't hard at all to remove the tom mount. I didn't remove the mount until I had a way to cover the holes. I found the cover plate from a user over at drummerworld. Search for the thread, Like a virgin, Yamaha bass drum plate.

  • @feener52 If you don't have access to a cover plate, you can get some blue painter's tape (no residue) and just tape over the holes from the inside to keep the air from escaping. I did that for years with a Recording Custom drum with no ill effects.

  • Haha, I bet that was an amazing day! Had to feel pretty good! Oddly enough, I'm waiting on my Gretsch kit and my pork pie too! Thanks for the vid!

  • nice set bro were can i get 1

  • Mmmm... Pork Pie....

  • Comment removed

  • Great video men!, Congratulations Yamaha its the best.

    From Venezuela! Peace

    God bless you.

  • This is probally my favorite unboxing ever!! nice set man (:

what was the first and last song ima be doing an unboxing of sabian sbr cymbals tomorow and ima put that song lol

  • You did a good job picking the parts. Now...tell me, where did this order come from? And were the paiste's part of the deal?

  • Verdict?

  • I am happy for you! Make sure you play that kit real good!

  • You should got ddrum or pearl

  • Yamaha ain't in to the whole 'punk/emo' rock thing pal. They make some of the best sounding kits out there. Ddrum an pearl are garbage...pearl's hayday was the 70's

  • @echols7839 Yamaha did make a more agressive sounding kit called the oak custom x..and it still wipes the floor with companies more known with a harder sound.

  • @shockerx1216 Yamaha ain't in to the whole 'emo/punk' rock thing pal. They make some of the highest quality drums out there. Ddrum is garbage and pearls hayday was in the 70's an 80's

  • @echols7839 dude pearl is da best

  • @IstanbulCymbals80 YAMAHA IS DA BEST!

  • @echols7839 I'd definitely have to say that Pearl is on par with Yamaha these days. Go listen to the Masters MCX custom kit, and you'll be amazed.

  • nice kit. diggin the paradiddles at the end. :p

  • how much was it

  • where did you buy the kit from and how much? and when you ordered it your door. did all the packages come at once or each one came at a different time?

  • @09areFish were did u get it?

  • @09areFish i'm gettin this same set but in raven black so were did u get it are the cymbal stands go and most of all do this set come with heads plz reply!!!

  • @ipodfann9 The stands are great and the kit comes with Yamaha branded heads.

  • @09areFish they're remo heads btw.just custom printed for yamaha.

  • How much did this all cost you?REALLY nice drumset.

  • Nice Work 09areFish:P

  • @jonasholger Thank you for the nice feedback.

  • @09areFish i was wondering is this worth the price of a shell pack please respond

  • did it come with a drum key?

  • @JazzNaySean Yes, one Yamaha drum key included.

  • i like the hi hat and the middle crash (i think the 18" one) and the splash is cool. i'm going to guitar center soon so maybe they have them that i can try out

  • i like the hi hat and the middle crash (i think the 18" one) and the splash is cool. i'm going to guitar center soon so maybe they have them

  • yeeah. from what i've heard the 2002's are nice, do you like them so far? i'm looking at those or zildjian a customs, the 2002's are just more expensive and i like the a customs as much if not more. anyways would you say it;s a good monetary thing? like the set as a whole?

  • @yourmom123456969 I do like my 2002 crashes (16" & 18") and 10" splash. You should hear them before you buy. They are made from a different bronze alloy then the A Customs. If you check out my video What The World Will Never Take (Drum Cover) you can hear them (camera audio, sorry).

  • yeah, i'm looking into this kit and i reeeally like it from what i've seen. the 2002's seem nice and i've also been looking at zildjian a customs

  • what about the cymbals?

  • @yourmom123456969 For the price point the Paiste PST 5 cymbal line is a good cymbal in my opinion. They are a B8 or SuSn8 bronze cymbal, not brass like the PST 3 line. I am ready to upgrade though. I am in the process of upgrading them to Paiste 2002 cymbals.

  • did the hardware come with the kit?

  • @Meatlooaf Yes this package included a 780 hardware pack. Two boom stands, snare stand, hi-hat stand & kick pedal were included.

  • @09areFish great! thanks!

  • do you like it?

  • @yourmom123456969 Yes I do. I recently off-set my toms and like it even more.

  • Brilliant video well done, and congrats on your new kit. Enjoy !!!

  • @drummer4life54 Now using Evans G2 clear over G1.

  • I have the same cymbal pack, their pretty good!
