Hi I'm currently repairing an iPhone 3G and have got to the end to discover that there is a tiny crack between two parts on the motherboard. When watching your video I paused at 4:43 to see which bit is cracked. Could you tell me what this part does? At 4:43, the crack is between the half circle and the tiny circle in the bottom right hand side of the motherboard in this video. Would this crack stop the phone from working and how do you fix it if it does? Any help would be great, many thanks

Well, its not the same phone. 2g had some shit, then 3g had bluetooth and gps, now the 3gs now has video recording and new features. They are not all the same phone, i dont see why you would even say that.

I own an iphone 3g, and let me tell you, it will be 10x better than any phone you will get in your life

all the 3gs had could of easily been on the orginal iphone. and no, my friend got the 3gs on launch day, i played with it for about an hour and it's the same phone. even the expert won't recommend you upgrade until next year's model comes out, and i had phones that i think is better than the iphone

yeah.. it has a 3mp camera that takes video, double the ram and processing speed, better oleo-phobic treated glass, different chip sets. faster in general.

so besides the design of it, what do you see that's the same?

it's the internals that separates the two. not the external.

and to add, my cousin has the 3G and I have the 3GS. Mine loads everything faster. From apps to web pages to cydia and more, it just does it better and more quick. oh, and the camera responds better. not the same

i own iphone 3G and will wait till next year and pass the 3Gs
